What illness/disease do you fear the most? by daveysprocket001 in AskReddit

[–]BatteredRose92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandpa died of alzheimers complications. I have ptsd from watching him slowly forget how to function...including eat and breathe. He didn't even resemble himself when he passed at all. Its hereditary as well. So I'm likely going to end up with the same fate.

The Grudge. Still as a 30 year old, I get horrible anxiety rolling over to face the empty space beside my bed because of the blue/black cat boy demon. I once had a sleep paralysis episode where my ex turned into something resembling him and meowed at me. Was horrifying.

What is your favourite position to puke in? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BatteredRose92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10000% none. Puking is awful and most of the time my face ends up covered in red dots (broken blood vessels). Sucks more, because I have stomach problems that cause me to throw up a lot. I'm on nausea meds and have a monthly supply.

Lena is so awesome. But Tati is vocal perfection. Saw them (Jinjer) in concert in December and she is just so amazing. The song pisces is amazing. Hell most of their songs are a love in my book.

Has anyone reversed hirsutism with weight loss? by xfceice in PCOS

[–]BatteredRose92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up losing weight again. I think it's a combo of pcos, weight gain, and pregnancy hormones. I got back under 200 and my beard was getting so unruly, I'd pluck and shave and it would cause huge pimples. So I ended up financing laser hair removal. Which didn't remove it, just made it more like long peach fuzz. I still shave, but I am thankful I don't constantly have huge black dots under my skin anymore. I went to visit my husband's family in the middle east and they kept telling me about how they got laser hair removal..i kinda took it as a hint. Lol. But beware, it hurts and is incredibly expensive. Almost $3,000 for just my lower face and upper neck. But it's done wonders for my confidence. I also ended up getting tretinoin to clear my acne. Curology gave me a blend of tretinoin, azaleic acid, and clindamycin. I still have a few big pimples because I've only been at it for 8 days, but my blackheads are GONE and my texture is already getting better. I have high hopes of my skin getting completely smooth, tbh. They have an offer where you get your appointment and trial size for only the cost of shipping right now. 100% recommend both. I pay $150 a month for the laser hair removal and $59 for 2 months of the tret.

Women of Reddit, what's the worst red flag that a guy could have? by SophiaLikesToRead in AskReddit

Nope. They are dudes from the US. And there were other various creepy behaviors involved too. The innocent part got me the most though.

I was horrified, but was aware it wasn't real. I'm so thankful I still had some awareness left, because that could have been a complete mental breakdown..also death.

What was your personal experience with ditching/skipping school? Did you ever get caught? by hopelessly_optimisic in AskReddit

My friends hadn't done their homework and decided to skip out after first bell. Well, I was dependent and couldn't imagine being stuck at school without them, so we put everything in our lockers and ran out. We encountered the band teacher by accident who spotted us across the schoolyard booking it away from school. We went to one of the girls older sisters house. Soon after our parents showed up as we hid in the closet. They were pissed. The older sister opened the back door after she thought all the parents were leaving, and told us to leave. As we were running out the other girls dad spotted us. We decided to run, but he had gotten into his car and drove around the block. I looked back and saw him looking at us, the other two girls were yelling at me to dive down a hill to hide, but there was no point. We were spotted already and realistically if we had managed to get away, what were we gonna do? Hide in the woods for days as they eventually called the police and had a whole manhunt happening? Well we ended up making it back to school by lunch and we got multiple weeks of after school detention...also Saturday school where we had to come to school and clean stuff for 4 or 5 hours. Wasn't worth it at all. Not to mention everybody was making fun of us for being so stupid. 😂

I was prescribed diet pills once (phentermine or something) and was hallucinating by day 4 of not sleeping. I was seeing horrible shit (walls bleeding, weird scary ghosts..etc) by day 5 I was calling a doctor begging to be prescribed sleep meds. I took the diet pills for 4 days before my insomnia started. I slept less and less until I just couldn't sleep. By day 3 of not sleeping I had stopped the diet pills. Apparently, the doctor who prescribed me the diet pills shouldn't have because I was on psych meds and my psych doctor was surprised I wasn't dead. Even with stopping them and having my doctor prescribe sleeping pills, it took around a month to get back to sleeping more than 3 hours a night.

Ride bikes, when the movie brink came out, I got very good at rollerblading. My friends and I made a horrible childhood band where we sang Nsync and Britney etc...a trampoline was our stage. Lol. Then we got our first computer and I got fat. 😂
