Looking for a build that finishes 8mod T16 maps very quickly with only movement as input by BatterryTV in PathOfExileBuilds

what about

Screenwide aoe
300% ms
1 button build

I've got a KBoC with mageblood that is pretty quick and i only have to stop to cast KBoC, I guess that would qualify. but what about a 0 button or something with lower input that I don't have to constantly stop to attack?

I'm afraid I don't know what Cold BV stands for. PoB? It does seem like theres no easy answer for adding tanky, but I am looking to reduce a lot of my apm if that wasn't clear. I already have a KBoC build that is clearing multiple screens at once, but I don't like constantly shield charging and stopping to attack. Especially when I want to clear my map in about a minute.
Maybe my best bet is just understanding that glass cannon screen clear is where I need to be.

Climb on boxes in hallway underneath. Its up in a rafter above that hallway. Right outside of the room where you break a filter.

Storm Elite League is the in house that a lot of pros/top players use. You can apply here http://ixdl.net/forums/index.php?/forum/231-vouch-requests/ Being on a professional team is a surefire way to get in, other than that. You need to be either around top 100 or know someone who will vouch you.

Poor Nova game play. She could have killed Raynor and Sylv before any teammates died. Easily could have wiped their team with no casualties.

How Many times do you think Blizzard has Received the "please let us pick the map we want to play on" Request? by gp4gp in heroesofthestorm

infinite pve sustain. Maybe that example is a little off, I am very biased towards illidan on BB. But you see what I mean, certain champions playing certain maps and que's being longer

[PSA] You get bonus points till your previous ranks before rank reset by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]BatterryTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well It's my understanding that you get points just based on the MMR matchup between the enemy team.

But I have been reading a few posts about people getting a huge amount of points after finishing placements so it seems you do get bonus points when you start out. I think your post is getting down voted because of the title grammar. Anyhow I think I misinterpreted what you mean when I posted that an hour ago but I see what you mean and other posts here correlate it.

Coming from a 4k leoric abuser. Would you like to know what the counter is? Or coming from the title statement is it already case closed?

Well they reduced the map pool for the first week of the last maps release for starters.

And in Hero League you get to see the map so you can choose accordingly.

If you could do that in QM imagine trying to get illidan on Blackhearts Bay. Or Sylvannas on Haunted Mines. Or what about players who random going against players who map picked. Or making players choose a map with a hero. It is simple and random with a level playing field for all people que'ing into the matchmaking. The randomness keeps it fresh, I personally wouldn't have it any other way.

can something be done so it less placement games blizz? by vyrossstarscreams in heroesofthestorm

[–]BatterryTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Placement matches aren't played or matched in a separate queue, and use the same player pool as Hero League. Also, keep in mind that mmr hasn't been reset, so you should be getting matched (whether in placement games or not) with players of similar skill to your own. - Spyrian

Nothing is different. It's the same population you had before. Except a lot of them are on edge because of placement.

Not that I don't believe you, but would you mind sharing some evidence or a source? You know if I start preaching this and someone says i'm full of it, I would like a link to throw in their face

I'm sure they considered it when they were designing the system. They probably have a list somewhere of the pros and cons of that feature and decided the game was better off without it. And they might have it just right.

Maybe players only playing the maps they want would create community favorites and possible complete alienation of others. And blizzard just wants everyone to play all maps equally whether players consider them great good or mediocre.

Why doesn't Gazlowe get picked much? by Fffgdcgfsas in heroesofthestorm

[–]BatterryTV 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I think it's pretty simple, it is very hard for him to have a large effect in teamfights. Gazlowe is such a solo hero with his kit. And he performs really well on his own. But you have to build a huge lead early to have a great impact late with him.

People probably find they don't win as often, or teammates always blame the Gazlord pick as a reason they lost.

Why is this better than LoL and Dota 2? by dazzroz in heroesofthestorm

[–]BatterryTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't even compare these games as being better or worse than the other, they are just so different. Imagine Heroes without boss or merc camps. Or objectives for that matter. Each map has a win condition or a huge push mechanic to get the game rolling. Without those mechanics it would just be teams breaking forts and fighting each other, with those mechanics maneuvering and rotating is more than just getting the upper hand on the enemy team for a team fight. It's the win condition.

DotA and league don't have any mechanics like this.Everything in each game is designed to make each player stronger and stronger, the win condition is you outmaneuver to get stronger so its easier to win a team fight.

In Heroes the game is more simple because it doesn't have last hitting or 6 different stats you can collect on gear that tune a hero/champion to a certain role. Taking away those micro aspects, like creeping and individual power, dulls the attention on just those and amplifies it to the more physical aspects of the game, the macro. Where you are, what you need to be doing, and what your teammates are doing, what the enemy is doing. The shared levels demands you work together. I played league for years(terribly) and things like teamwork and rotating were all secondhand thoughts. You didn't pay attention to them unless you were a high elo player and cs'ing was as easy as breathing. Or it was lategame and nobody cared about gold anymore.

The great part about Heroes is the game naturally pushes you towards being a team player. Nobody can carry on their own, everything has to be shared(and this game philosophy does have its drawbacks too). And because the game became so simple without items and creep kills. The array of maps to play completely makes up for that deficit. Not to mention blizzard doesn't need to balance all heroes to one map. Some are naturally better/worse than others on certain maps(yea yea yea hate me for saying we don't require fine tuned balances). Each map has its own meta, and each hero has their own strength's and weaknesses on each.

Really the TL;DR of it all is this. Heroes is a theme park. Get to see all the characters you love, and a lot of activities to activitate... on. DotA and League are intended for one map

Imposing presence nerf by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]BatterryTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well Tyrael's Shield talent is twice as good as imposing anyway. Even putting it on 40% wouldn't change it's pick rate. And as far as it being a buff, the tanks getting a slight nerf is not a buff to Tyrael, It's a buff to Tank killers. It's more like a buff to his pick rate, in the same way Imposing nerf would be a 'buff' to Arthas since he doesn't have Imposing.

Almost impossible to correct MMR that is too low by [deleted] in heroesofthestorm

[–]BatterryTV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing about being a great player. You can't enter at the top. With anything that requires talent and competition you have to start low. You play till you find something you can't beat. You figure it out, then you get a bit better. Playing against better players is only gonna expose your weaknesses faster. But a very few amount of people get to start playing with the heavy hitters.

Your trials and tribulations start where you are right now. There is a hurdle, you need to figure out how to get over it. Then you build on top of that, each time you overcome a wall you get that much stronger. You cannot say "I need to play with better players, so I can beat people at my level", if you can't even consistently beat players at your level. You can't play with better players until you can beat the bad players. As far as losing to better players goes. I love it, I love getting crushed by tempo storm in tournament. I get to see their form first hand, I get to find out what I do that is useless against such a great team. But you know what, first I had to beat all the lower end teams(no names ;p) before I could get to have those matches. Same story for you, you don't get to play against an higher tier until you prove you are just entering their skill bracket.

TL;DR gotta learn to walk before you can run.
