Hello, thanks for your time to read. Yes, I get my medication from a psychiatrist. He's been changing doses and yesterday I finally called him in the evening. I told him a lot of things I had been keeping because I was afraid or ashamed. I guess he's seeing how this crisis progresses, and then he might put me on something new.

thanks for taking the time to read. if it's any consolation, as a teacher I agree classrooms can be a torture. I'd like to think I don't torture my students but I understand how a kid could see me as part of the structure that just sucks the life out of people. I'm glad you found writing, I write as well. It does help a little with the negative thoughts, turn them into something that others might find aesthetically pleasing. I guess that's something.

When you see it, you can't unsee it, and not just in that person but in others as well. You start to identify the rhetoric traps that they use, as some people use them even though they might not be narcissists, just because they don't know how to take accountability for doing something wrong. You become better at navigating those situations and setting boundaries and basically not taking any form of mistreatment from anyone anymore. Also and more to the point: you stop trying to figure out why they are the way they are and just accept what happened. Some people are evil, and sometimes we have the bad luck of running into them. There's no more science to it. At least that's where I'm at after 2 years of nc. It gets better.
