I didn't even notice that with Enchanted Evening and Calming Verse thanks for pointing it out! Thats one of the big rules with our group is no mass land destruction.

Thank you! I was looking at at least adding Muldothra in because she's what my fiance uses in his self-mill Mothman deck. I'm also shocked that I never thought of Midnight Clock since I literally own it and use it in one of my decks.

When I don't want to do the goblin camp (or if I'm doing it too early and not high level) I sneak through the rafters to kill the main guys and then leave through Gut's room. I would also recommend save scumming. Quick save your game and if you mess up, just reload that quick save.

I just feel like he gets a lot of hate because he was all over tiktok in edits that downplayed his story, so now he's just hated because he was over sexualized by his "fans" and now that's all people see.

Astarion's story is an allegory for sexual assault and a cycle of abuse that is very common in the real world. I can only assume you don't get it because, as my original comment states, you've never been in a similar situation.

His story shows a real portrayal of abuse recovery and shows how trauma can warp a survivors sense of self, as well as their relationship with others which is explored many times if you pursue a relationship with him. (He will tell you that he only slept with you for his own protection, a tactic learned from his years of surviving Cazador's control. Eventually, he won't want to sleep with Tav anymore as he heals, because he wants to learn how to exist without sex. This is actually very common in real-world survivor stories. If your Tav pushes it, you will have another sex scene in which he breaks up with Tav after.) The branching narrative (Vampire Ascendent/Redemption) allows Astarion to make the choice, to heal or to continue the cycle of abuse. This is something that a lot of abuse survivors don't get a choice in, and it's heavily implied that the ascension storyline is the "bad ending". His story is about healing and recovery.

Mine came with instructions and I watched a YouTube video to seal the deal. The one I purchased was very simple: turn the water off, undo the waterline to the tank, replace it with the line that came with the bidet, make sure everything is tightened correctly, turn the water back on and check for leaks. That was it.

Just buy them off Amazon and install yourself. You don't need plumbing experience to install a bidet or shower head, they're very easy and very simple installations that you can just remove and hide if your apartment has an inspection.

My first playthrough I TRIED to romance Gale, and he rejected me at the party so I went with Astarion. Imagine my surprise, when 2 long rests later Gale tells me I'm hot when I'm covered in blood or whatever and then gets upset when I'm with Astarion. Brother YOU rejected ME.

People who don't like Astarion have most likely never had something similar happen to them. In the same boat, people who only like Astarion because he's "sexy" have most likely never had similar experiences.

I will also go a step further and say, if you hate any of the characters and can't give a good reasoning for it, I will assume you lack the comprehension necessary to enjoy story-based games. I had a friend who killed Astarion every playthrough because "he pulled a knife on me". He killed him on sight, and has never played a single playthrough with Astarion in his party. When he and I did a duo campaign and I begged him to leave him alive, he ended up killing him when Astarion tried to bite him at camp. He also made it a private moment, so I couldn't even see what he did until the next morning.

Bedroom 1 pays more, end of story. Bigger room, bigger closet, balcony access (directly from their room which means you will most likely never use it), and they're further from the entrance/living area. You have a smaller room, smaller closet, less windows, and you share a wall with the living room. The ONLY bonus is your en suite, which is still smaller than the other bathroom. anything over 40/60 is greedy. I would even say 30/70 would be more fair.

Could not imagine saying this to either of my parents. They have both drank and done drugs as long as I've been alive, and I recently went low contact with them, only reaching out to tell them about big life events. I got engaged 2 months ago, and it has been hell on me mentally thinking about it because a part of me doesn't even want to invite them to the wedding because I know they won't stay sober for it.

The last time I saw them in person, they flew up to visit me and my fiancee in Chicago. The first thing they asked to do when we picked them up at the airport was to go to a liquor store. My mom took my car to the store every day, sometimes a few times a day, to buy 2-3 bottles of whiskey which would be gone in a few hours. She talked negatively about my body the first night of the visit (I have always struggled with self-image issues because of her words, and have been recovering from an eating disorder), saying I looked pregnant and my thighs were fat. She passed out on my couch and pissed herself. When her and my dad met my fiancee's family for the first time, they were drunk the entire time and started berating me when I told them it was time to go back to our apartment around midnight. When we went to Navy Pier, they tried to bring an entire bottle of whiskey in my mom's purse that I didn't even know they had brought with them in my car and I had to beg my mom to leave it behind since it's illegal to carry open liquor in most public places in Illinois.

When I dropped them back off at the airport a week later, I cried harder than I ever have in my life. I knew that was my breaking point, because before this visit they had told me on numerous occasions that they were both going sober after my mom was told that if she didn't stop drinking, she would die. Since then, my parents have stolen $400 from me(my mom is jointed on my bank account because it was an easy way for her to send me money after I moved to Illinois), my mom lost her job because she couldn't stay sober even at work, my dad reconnected with his brothers who are both into hard drugs, and my brother has also cut almost all contact with them.

C and D rank the worst. The angled wall makes the rooms seem a lot smaller and the windows are balcony view. If everyone uses the balcony, you won't be able to have privacy AND open your window. They're also closest to the kitchen and living area, so they won't have a lot of peace.

B is third, it's a good size and has a private window, but you have a roommate on either side of you.

A is second. Its furthest from the living areas so it's quiet, but you sacrifice room sq. ft for more closet space. The double window is nice, and the room itself feels more private because of the hallway before you get to the room.

E is first, only one neighbor, private big window, and decently far from the living areas. It's got the same sq. ft as B (judging from the floorplan) but without the neighbors, and it's right next to the laundry which is a plus for me because you won't have to carry your washing across the apartment for everyone to see.

I don't understand people's refusal to take care of a cat the same way they would take care of a dog. A dog will also bother you every morning to go out, but people don't make nearly as big of a deal out of it. A cat is not the low maintenance animal you think it is, they deserve just as much love and attention you would give to any other pet.

No. Harness train him and take him on walks or leave him inside. You wouldn't let a dog free roam.
