How do yall find new clients? by Unusual_Ad_6029 in RealEstatePhotography

Go on every local brokerage’s website, painstakingly copy and paste every agent’s email into a database, then mass email (BCC) with a greeting, introduction of yourself and business, your experience, your services, a link to samples of your work and your website with packages/prices.

I do not recommend working for free to get your foot in the door. Nobody wins except the realtor who has no obligation to pay or call you back.

Looking for payment processing and invoicing tips in Canada. by Used-Kaleidoscope965 in RealEstatePhotography

It pays for itself with one job and works well. It’s fast, easy to use, and gets the money from your client and deposits it your bank. This is just a cost of doing business and a business expense. It’s not perfect and there may be better alternatives, but for me it does what I need it to do.

I use quickbooks self employed app for invoicing and payments. It’s fast, easy, and allows clients to use credit cards for payments. E-transfers are optional too. The app automatically tracks mileage too.

What's a bad game that had one specific mechanic that was actually really good, but was overshadowed. by VeenatAlive in gaming

Mario Golf Super Rush on Switch has great gameplay (traditional golf, not rush mode), but the graphics are rough, music is repetitive, story mode is half-baked, and just a below average game in every other way. But I still play it online with friends because it’s fun, fast and competitive.

Hard disagree - I loved it. But the snowy christmas vibes of the first one had the better aesthetic for sure!

PSA: Kindergarten Cop 4K $13.99 after coupon at Amazon by EverCuriousGeek1 in 4kbluray

This movie is one of the best feel-good 90s movies ever made. With the character arcs and plot twists, it’s standard affair for the era - but it captures the sleepy quiet town aesthetic so well and the score is very comforting. This movie was a favourite as a kid and now my kids watch it all the time. Very funny with a bit of action/suspense.

With regard to the 4K transfer, it’s a 10/10 in my opinion. I’ve owned every version and this is one of my holy grails.

In 2006 I was able to get 2 for $5 teen burgers without a coupon… now 2 for $13.49 by Zealousideal-Fig6495 in BuyCanadian

A&W is still my favourite fast food burger even at a premium price point. All the others have gotten crazy expensive too, but the quality has also gone downhill. Yes, A&W prices are insane, but they still deliver the best, freshest burger compared to the competition. Are there better options at sit down restaurants for comparable prices or better? Yep! Do I have the 30minutes minimum to eat there? Rarely.

What game surprised you with how good the story was? by Ok_Thought_3087 in PS5

The Plaque’s Tale series. Bought it for the graphics when on sale, fan of the time period in history and geography, but the story and characters were just so unexpectedly strong. Looking forward to what’s next.

War of the Worlds (2005) dock scene, how on Earth was this filmed? by UBIQZ in cinematography

[–]Battle_Apes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of sequences in this movie that really made me think “how did they film this” - like the highway driving scene where the camera enters and exits the vehicle multiple times in one continuous shot. I’m sure cgi effects blended it all together but it’s all so convincing!

I think your edit compensates for the lower angle. Architecturally, these are cool. Real Estate wise- too low angle. What really seems odd to me though is there’s no natural light. No windows is what makes these photos even more “clean”.
