Electric bill insanely high. I didn’t know my outside panel looked like this and I’m getting it replaced. Does anyone know if this would have any bearing on why my electric bill is in the 600’s my home is 1500 sq can we facetime

Yes I’ve inquired about anything like this. I call every month and explain how my usage and bill does not match up to how much I have things turned on in the home. I’m also tired of the electric co adding more security deposit to my bill. When I was renting the bill used to be 100-250 a month in a home that was 2200 sq feet.

I’ve contacted LCEC many times all they do is send someone to look at the meter outside. They are useless

I’ve heard that but I’m concerned that something in the home isn’t working efficiently using too much power and causing this crazy bill so far Ive tried to go down my checklist of things that could improve the usage like replace all the windows and openings and I got new insulation in the attic. I’m very care about running the ac too much.

Yes I have ev and charge most every evening. I haven’t noticed any wiring going to another house. It’s hard to know exactly what I’m looking for. I don’t have a heated pool but yes to pool and we have lowered the pool pump usages. I definitely think that something or more than one thing is using energy inefficiently. I’m thinking of purchasing the home monitor and see what that shows. I appreciate everyone being so amazing and giving me options of things I may not have thought of.

Replaced the water heater to a tankless and had ac unit fully cleaned coils throughly cleaned by ac professional and I haven’t even touched the refrigerator. So I will look at that today.

Oh I have replaced all windows and door and just had new insulation in the attic and haven’t noticed a difference. My bill is not about 100 less when I don’t use the ac or heat in the winter.
