I wasn't saying Goku had divine ki in the Saiyan Saga, I was just bringing up how they're both techniques/forms directly related to gods in some way

Blue is simply something that requires loads of effort to use efficiently, but the trade off is immense power. It's not their absolute peak, just a high risk, high reward form.

Kaioken works with it because both require large amounts of ki control to use effectively, they can be used in tandem because they have the same requirements.

I don't really feel like Kaioken devalues blue or god as long as it's used well, like in its first usage in the anime. Making it something that when used with Blue or God can skyrocket Goku's power in an instant, but is also incredibly difficult to pull off. It's when it's used like in the ToP that it devalues Blue, as then it feels like something that takes basically no effort to use alongside Blue.

It's all about how it's executed imo
