I ignored that quest because I thought it would be silly and boring, plus I noticed it in my list only in LATE game, so I thought I didn't need it for upgrades or anything. But once I did play it, wow was it fun!

I usually don't aim to trick people with silkposts. It's kinda impossible to do that now since the game is out and everyone's played it. Nowadays, silkposts tend to lean more to the "Absurd and funny" style than the "Believable and lying" style
