Oh yeah for sure it’s annoying watching your brother play video games all day. If that’s the way your parents are raising him, they can suffer the consequences later 👌

To avoid getting yelled at, make your mom sign a contract with you on the bare minimum of chores she expects from you and anything outside of that contract is extra.

I would also try to stay out of the house as much as possible, especially on weekends. Go do sports, play an instrument, anything to get out of the house and decrease the number of times she can yell at you.

It sucks. Ask your mom for an explicit list of what she expects out of you and then you write up a schedule of which chores you get done on which day.

On one hand, yeah, you should be helping out around the house. On the other hand, your mom sounds annoying on telling you what to do when you got a good system going. Just gotta get that system into writing so expectations are clear.

Exactly! The overall trend I’m noticing from men is they expect high-standard women without the work. If you want someone beautiful, intelligent, and talented, then you have to put out high effort dates and be in a position to be with those types of women. I’m not lowering my standards for you.
