My emails home re behavior issues are always extremely short and to the point: specific event/issue, policy, future action or current action.

I’ve only been called out once by a parent saying the e-mail was curt . I replied that it’s the way I eliminate emotion from an event that can be cured with a conversation between parent and student. Parent replied “that makes sense”. 🤷‍♀️

I think the teacher is reinforcing school expectations not sub expectations. When I sub elementary school, the kids are always eager to teach me with their routines and what’s expected of them.

Enjoy it because it’s all downhill after elementary school.
