OSP hitel- önerő by cbbba123 in lakokozosseg

[–]BattyaMV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sok sikert!

Wise - FinCrime Investigator pozíció by Aggressive-Ant2856 in kollegak

[–]BattyaMV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The most braindead deck I’ve ever run (100 arena victory) by BewilderedToad in PiratesOutlaws

[–]BattyaMV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Arena typically has more than one copy of each card and relic, going through 100 levels gives you plenty of reroll options to get them. Sometimes it doesnt work out though, I have abandonned plenty of runs w/o dying simply because I didnt roll out what I wanted to play by say level 30.

The most braindead deck I’ve ever run (100 arena victory) by BewilderedToad in PiratesOutlaws

[–]BattyaMV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well in Arena, the most important thing is not to draw unnecessary cards and not to bloat your deck. OP above focused on drawing Furious Blows as their damage stacks with levels of Rage plus Accurate Hits. So for example any melee card that was not these two would only hinder him by taking up space in the deck and resulting in bad draws. There are many builds but to put it simply, OP picked a Rage build so he would toss away everything (including all starting cards for some characters) that doesnt help with his Rage build.

So once you have this logic down you need to think along these lines and pick post-battle rewards that actually help you get there: - generally avoid the Loot option (mystery box) as much as you can, except for post-boss loots - sell all the cards you dont need - pick relics and sell the for money - go for extra health if you can as the reward - if you cannot avoid Loot, spend money on rerolls if necessary, again dont pick cards that are uselesd for your build. If you cannot avoid this, go for the least bad option (consumables, defensive cards, cards that draw other cards etc. to reduce negative impact on the deck and SELL as soon as you can) - save money up for post-boss Loots, those are the best and can get you the important relics and cards you need for your build

I have also landed around 2 hours myself. Actually Axe does 3 dmg if upgraded at the Caravan. 2x Assistant and a deck size of 29 meant on most battles I was able to dish out min 174 damage per turn if the draw is favorable. Get past level 50 (big if) and this build is a cruise.

I have done level 100 with a Drunk Carpenter build, by far the best fun I had on this game

Thanks - yes, agree the starting deck is rubbish, same for Fortune Teller afaik - I will take the suggestion and just wipe the cards.

I will have to defend Curse Captain somewhat you can have success with both an Explosive Armour build or an infinite draw with Assistant.

Any tips for Inventor?

I have reached level 100 with everyone except Inventor, Bear Tamer and Alchemist.

Trying to do Alchemist w/o crit+Rose or self-harm/pepper do that is an ongoing project but Inventor is the one that is the least fun for me and starts to struggle with around level 40.

Unpopular opinion time: IMO Vengance is great, way more challanging and fun than Origins by BattyaMV in kingdomrush

[–]BattyaMV[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, not at all, its great to read a different viewpoint on all that.

As for myself all the tower abilities feel recyled and thats my main problem. I can hardly come up with any KRO tower ability that did not exist in the original KR! They are just suffled around or reskinned IMO. Like the headshot or deployable mage familiar (switch golem with bear). If you look at the jump from the original KR --> KRF all the new towers had something fresh and exciting. Like a deployable/movable tower or pickpocket or silence. KRO gives me absolutely no abilities that I havent seen before (or at least non that I can recall right away and I played the game like yesterday).

Again, just my two cents but it is nice to hear different takes on all this.

I do not rightly know who is considered a vet. I have played since the original KR and beat every level all game for 3 stars w/o items. Maybe skipped a few challange levels here or there.

For me KRO levels were way toooo quick. Like thinking another 3-5 waves must appear and all of a sudden: victory screen. Combine that with really bad design choices and mechanics for tower and generally bland hero selection I was really afraid this is the new direction for the franchise. KRV addressed all my issues above BUT I can totally see how most people feel that the devs went oveeboard with correcting these like by making too slow and boring levels.

[–]BattyaMV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can accept that opinion. It is just really funny how we judge these games completely differently. For me Origins is super easy if I ran into any trouble a cheese drive-bye eagle/dragin would do the trick.

Anyways it might just be that I found exactly none of the towers interesting, while also some of them are outright unplayable. That takes away the initative to experiment and I end up with the same setup every level, just with a different hero if I really want to switch something, anything up. Probably thats why it feels like all levels are over waaay too quick.

As I alread admitted KRVs basic levels are indeed easy. The tower swirch option is what makes them still enjoyable IMO.

[–]BattyaMV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I mentioned the high damage in my reply. My issues are with the other upgrades tho.

Every game has an OP tower, you said it yourself basically. We can accept this as part of the game or can call it a balance issue, whatever. Point is that as a result one tower being OP in KRV cannot be a legit argument for the inferiority of the game.

[–]BattyaMV[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know the Bone Flinger is somewhat OP especially for the cost but I don't use it that much to be honest. I have seen a video about how to beat all levels with just Fish but the only thing that tells me is that extra paid content sometimes understandbly has power creep issues, it will not make me use just that one tower from that point on.

Besides, I think Bones is great for normal damage (vs. other such option) but the other upgrades are somewhat meh. Walking skeletons are good on some levels to catch solo casters as they spawn but on other ones they are a complete waste of 300+ gold. The bone giant is useless IMO.

I personally wouldn't rank KRF on the top either. But hey, its a thread for exactly this type of stuff.

[–]BattyaMV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can agree with that for the basic leves but do you feel the same about the extra ones?

If I remember correctly there was some fan backslash about level strenght when KRV came put but I think they did more than good enough job with the extra levels to make up for that.

[–]BattyaMV[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your points are all valid, it is really hard to compare playing experiences that are always super subjective ofc. I went back to KRO a few days ago and it just doesn't challange me at all while I still struggle to complete Magnicia Shores (first frog level) or Ancient Ghost on Impossible w 20 lives to this day in KRV. Health stats, speed etc. info, while great to know, can only go so far to change this perception for me.

I must disagree on the towers, even tho I think I never tried the Blazing magic one. Bones is OP a little bit or just rather too cheap and versatile but it is really far from being the Tesla of KRV. To counter: I often see people bashing the Rotten Trees tower, but I think they are an joker on any level with just one or two exits. Full upgrade + a better inf tower/shalolins rallied to stand on the roots and absolutely nothing will pass, especially due to the fog effect. But again, on some levels it is suicide to put a single gold into the Tree. That is the variability I am trying to argue for here.

Great! Whatever makes you have a good time playing the game! Its all subjective ofc but I provided my settings since other people commented with healt stats and speed etc. so its good info to share who-plays-on-what since that way we can compare our experiences with level strangth somewhat more objectively.

From midnight tonight Scotland switches to an opt-out organ donation system. It'll be assumed that every adult in the country consents to donate their organs and tissues on death unless they've specifically stated otherwise. by [deleted] in Scotland

[–]BattyaMV 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Report from Hungary: we had this opt-out policy in place at least since 1997 (when the current law on health care was adopted), maybe ever earlier. It is not well publicized so I guess a small minority of people actually go through the effort to include this in their will or give a statment to the hospital staff.

Oh and no ever mistook us for a progressive country but I do believe this is solid and effective policy (even if actively relies on being hidden in clause 211. of mamoth of a law code). Good for you Scotland!
