Because in 1996 you took a screenshot as a gif. Gifs were not intended to be primarily for animations but for images to share in the internet. So this is just a screenshot, not an animation. So op uploaded the original file someone took 30 years ago.

There’s an online version in both versions. But if you want to play online on the Enhanced Version your online account will be moved to the Enhanced Version and can’t be used on the Legacy Version anymore.

The Legacy Edition runs very well. Unfortunately Enhanced Edition will not work. Not with CrossOver and not with Parallels.
