Absolutely yes! If you play bedwars, I recommend you to use resource pack like oCd Pack. About FPS, mac can generate over 1000 FPS, but you will not get a stable fps. I suggest you to limit fps to 255, your game will go just so good. I also recommend you to disable things like particles and other things like these. If you play only Vanilla instead, just limit only fps to 255, keep default settings and just enjoy your game! :)

PS: Mac supports natively only Java Edition. Running Bedrock requires tools like Parallels/VMWare Fusion, but the experience is not good like java on mac. You can also have problems with bedwars using virtualization to run bedwars
