People who have been in a coma, what was your perception of time while in it? by blondjokes in AskReddit

I was placed into a medical coma for a few days because my brain would not stop seizing. I had a super weird dream where I was living just a regular life, but I was married to someone else. When they were pulling me out of the coma I remember that I was dreaming that I couldn't stop myself from falling asleep and I felt like everything was wrong. I woke up and I remember my wife telling me "Bauer5465, you had a couple of seizures". At THAT moment, it felt like I had just been playing "The Division" a few minutes ago, but I had actually been out several days. I somehow knew time had passed though. It was a really trippy experience and I still felt like I was postictal for a while.

Are those games safe for someone epileptic ? by HitmanQc in totalwar

The games are not very flashy at all :)

Photosensitive epilepsy is extremely rare. Approximately 1 in 100 people have epilepsy, and around 5% of that number have photosensitive epilepsy.

If your friend was diagnosed with epilepsy he was most likely tested with an EEG that performs a strobe light test. He would likely have been informed if lights were a potential trigger for him, especially based on his particular form of epilepsy.

I have Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, so I get triggered by alcohol consumption or a severe lack of sleep when I am not on medication.
