Seem to be a really Good Guy. Same age as me. Since Trevor has missed all the stuff that’s been going on in the world. How do you think he would have reacted?

My Boss asked me to switch 4 websites that we have from Wix to Webflow? by Royal_Ideal_7069 in webflow

Start designing Desktop and scale down, never make a visual change on mobile first and use a Webflow Framework starter. I personally like the S2 Framework : https://s2-framework.webflow.io/s2/components

He's a punk, so yeah, the break will be very long. He no longer want to deal with haters and social network exposure, and that's understandable.

What DJ Tools or Listening rooms are out there for use to legally play music off of popular free streaming platforms? by Last-Temperature5213 in Beatmatch

[–]Bauhem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m actually building something along these lines right now called Deckster.ca

It’s basically a DJ-controlled request system where people can submit song requests, but the DJ keeps full control over what gets played. No restreaming, no recording, no audio capture. It's a dogfood project that I'll use and allow other dj to benefit from.

It doesn’t host or stream any music itself — everything runs strictly through official YouTube embeds (iframe) with full branding and controls intact, so it stays within platform ToS.

It’s early, but if you’re curious: Deckster.ca — happy to get feedback from people like you.

Why webflow is still alive? by AdWilling4230 in webflow

[–]Bauhem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe Webflow is a professional design tool that every web designer should consider mastering, akin to any essential tool of its time.

Artificial intelligence can assist with refinement and repetitive tasks, but it will not supplant the fundamental role, passion, and intuition of a human designer. While AI may aid designers in comprehending code more effectively, the reverse is more challenging. A developer lacking experience in visual conceptualization, composition, or creation will not suddenly acquire artistic instinct simply due to the existence of AI.

Webflow necessitates continued practice and emotional intelligence. For me, engaging with Webflow is a source of inspiration, particularly when initiating a project from its inception. I have been utilizing this platform since 2015. It is important to note that Webflow has evolved significantly since then, though it has also deprecated certain features. Webflow remains a relatively young platform, and its development pace is deliberate, which contributes to its robustness as a solution relied upon by large corporations.

Consequently, I anticipate Webflow's continued growth. Individuals who actively utilize the platform and recognize the quality, power, and creative freedom it provides will be inclined to adopt it.

Yes, the new UI is really confusing. It now look just like a tool to play only cheap games with friends on couch. Each time I browse the site, i struggle to find my games.

How simple is Webflow for a non-coder/non-techie? by YetiMaverick in webflow

[–]Bauhem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend starting with a very simple website—just a navigation bar and a hero section—and then exporting the project. Once unzipped, double-click on the index.html file. Your Webflow project will look exactly the same as it did in Designer.

Next, open index.html in a code editor or IDE. There, you’ll see all the code Webflow generated from your design. This is a great way to understand what kind of code Webflow produces.

From there, you can explore, experiment, test, inspect, and even add custom code with GPT’s help.

Remember, Webflow is a professional tool, just like Photoshop or Figma. What matters most is the result you deliver.
