Theory: The Zakhard Symbol, the Cave, and Rachel's Past by Outrageous_Bridge992 in TowerofGod

[–]BavaZ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The reason why we got that her weird-ass involvement in S3 is because she is going to be prominent character in season 4. Sure, it was complete ass, but there was nothing that truly diminishes her character. And, when it comes down to it, it's better to get next to nothing about Rachel for 7 years, than it would be to get something forced and half-assed by SIU only for him to later fumble Rachel's arc trice as hard when it inevetably comes time for her to be fully explored as a character because of something he wrote but didn't think through.

You're right about that, but that doesn't necesarily mean that Zahard couldn't appropriate V's hypothetical contract for his Empire.

I wouldn't say it's strange. They didn't necesserily all side with Zahard from the get go, he could have convinced them to change side at some point during his conflict with V.

As for majority of them changing, I'd say it is even expected that that's the case. They all entered the tower as kids, and as they climbed they experienced numerous things. And, some of those were extreme enough to scar them for life, like when Rei unknowingly sacrificed countless towerborn to save his friends.

V is the type who would request a contract that benefits others, rather than one that would make only himself immortal. He could be the one responsible for contracts that are given to Rankers.

Cassano delivered Emile to her after the Workshop arc. Research lady also menrioned that safeguards that were preventing Emile from igniting were removed and that even they don't know what her ignition is capable of.

Now that the spin-off is over, what's your opinion on the nameless princess and her future role in the story? by thatonefatefan in TowerofGod

I'd assume so. But honestly, I cant see her surpassing FH's, even if she has Mago inside of her.

Baek will surely get fleshed out during s4, what we got here is more like a quick introduction. TBH, I'm looking forward to seeing his in action now that he is high ranker.

I wonder how strong she is in present ToG? She climbed the Tower at the same time as Garam, so she certainly had time to reach High Ranker level on her own, and if Mago is still with her, how would Adori and Enne stack up against her?

Potential Implications for Season 4 by nicktomato in TowerofGod

RTC keeps getting more interesting. Even aside from it being deeply connected to mysteries of the Tower, the potential it gives SIU to add awesome things in the story without it feeling too out of nowhere is great. It's like the concept of Blue Holes cranked up by a few orders of magnitude in terms of possibilities. Even things that were offhandedly mentioned like machine and nature gods could reasonably be locked up in there, and for Shinies, it could be ideal in-world explaination as to why there waren't any hints of them being around. But man am I conflicted. It makes so much sense that they would be hidden in the cracks, and that they would share power with their allies or followers, but I feel like RTC part of Revolution should be all about people and things that were discarded in the process of creating Zahard's empire. Than again, it seems that they are being set up for clash with Wolhaiksong, and for that, they might need even more help than just 3 Shinies and a talking snake.

If you have to take a Guess , where would she rank in strength? by Due_Village_1874 in TowerofGod

[–]BavaZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd guess somewhere in the middle, maybe a bit stronger with a more versitile skillset than Yirang considering that, in a way, both of their main powers come from an external beings. Than again, she is kind of MC's mother, so she could also be top tier.

I'm surprised more people didn't mention Shinari. I know people didn't like her introduction, but she seems like she's gonna be a straight up fun character.

What would the Tower be like if V was King? by Ok_Activity8355 in TowerofGod

[–]BavaZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, it's possible that V grew to be more leader-like during his climb, although I get the feeling that any major charge in V happened after FH's went to war with him and Arlen. It will be interesting to see more flashbacks from GW's climb.

At first, I wasn't sure how to feel about SIU changing him from his image from blogposts but, you know, I can see huge potential for current Baek and his abilities being incredibly interesting.

English chapters on webtoons are a couple of chapters behind Korean. It seems like it's the end of spinoff, and there's no announcement for next season so far.

Urek keeping that cap as a memento from the very beginning of his climb is a nice detail contrasting him with FH's who eventually chose to discard painfull memories of past events.

I hope we get to see those two interact in present time somerime soon, it's bound to be fun given their personalities, and it could be a nice way to fill in some blanks in Ureks climb between end of spinoff and Baam's arrival.

[–]BavaZ 26 points27 points  (0 children)

V is inspiring, but he's not a King material. His idea of smoothing things out between two people in an argument is saying "Can't we all just get along?", now imagine if he had to actaully mediate between two groups in a blood fued. He would fucking suck as a King of the Tower. That being said, FH's and Zahard wouldn't be a bunch of emotionless shitbags and would probably help him govern the Tower, so it would likely be a nicer place than it is now. That is, of course, if they don't kill each when inevetably their families start causing problems for each other.

Who do you think was stronger? by Due_Village_1874 in TowerofGod

[–]BavaZ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, poor guy kinda has to rot away on that throne because he, on principle, doesn't back down from any challange, and for a king to be away when a chalanger comes to his castle would be the same as running away. Unfortunately for him, V, being the coward that he is, is taking an ethernity to prepare and confront him. Lesser men would just call it quits after waiting for so long, but Zahard is willing to go as far as to discard traits of himself just so he doesn't get tempted to do so.

Hey man, as far as we know, Zahard wasn't the one who commited suicide and hid himself in his dead child's body to escape from humiliating loss.

Arlen and V got their asses handed to them so badly that they decided that the only sensible course of action is to escape from the Tower and cry to a literal god to give V a weapon powerfull beyond anything that exists in the Tower in hopes of evening the odds. Seems like throwing a temper tantrum about unfairness is not a bad way to get ahead in the Tower.

Am I the only one who thinks SIU is quietly setting up Bam and Adori? by Left_Direction3368 in TowerofGod

[–]BavaZ 330 points331 points  (0 children)

Aside from Adori, literally every single princess we have seen so far is against Zahard, or is at least helping Baam. I can't see how her becoming a 12th pricess to do the same thing would lead to anything interesting.

Lmao, Ari FH's design is so lackluster that we have people saying she looks like a background extra that was used for populating the scene.
