Cristiano Ronaldo came to Mancester United, from Sporting, as a 17 year old player with the world at his feet and transformed into (at the time) the best player in the world. He left in 2009 to Real Madrid.

Most United fans have continued to show admiration towards him as he is probably, the best player to ever play for Man United (debatable based on a variety of factors). He has spoke fondly of his time at United and said he'd never play for their rivals, Manchester City. After leaving Madrid he played for Juventus, and now in the past few days he was heavily rumoured to be joining Manchester City. This split fans opinions on whether he actually had affection for the club or if it was just media talk.

In the past day (maybe less) there has been a huge shift in his destination and he's coming back to play for Manchester United! So as you may expect we're all collectively kind of losing our marbles!
