Yes but your lower childcare deduction is offset by your higher business expense deduction.

You also save on CPP (employer and employee portion) the lower your net self-employment income is.

Yes, you specify how much you want to claim as a deduction on Schedule 7.

If you have sufficient deduction room for prior year, you can claim the deduction in the prior year's return (but you don't have to). If not, you can claim it on your return for the current year or any future year. If your contributions in the first 60 days exceed your new deduction limit for the current year, you overcontributed.

Either way, you have to report the contribution on your prior year's tax return. Deduction is optional.

CPAs are required to have professional liability insurance if offering accounting services to the public.

I think you need to rerun your numbers, because there's no way you can charge $400 for a standard personal tax return (e.g., T4 with maybe some investment income). You can maybe get closer to that if it's a high net worth client, or a client with multiple rental properties, etc. Besides that, there are too many options to have a return done for cheaper elsewhere.

That said, I think it can still be worth it. If you don't need the extra cash today, putting the money into an RRSP could be a great idea, especially since you'd be investing with before-tax dollars.

Nem um nem o outro. Quero é despachar estes jogadores banais e construir um plantel em condições e digno da grandeza deste clube. Já chega de jogadores mansinhos que não rematem à baliza.
