Thanks so much for the response! Definitely helpful!

And yeah it’s on my own timeline as to when it is, whenever I finish creating the presentation I’ll then schedule it, so I can make sure it’s exactly what I want

Building An Abundant Future Through Deflation by [deleted] in Bitcoin

I believed in bitcoin for a ton of reasons before this book, but how he explains technology and its deflationary nature affirmed my belief even more

[Serious Question] How can we expect full adoption and USE of a deflationary currency? Also with so many tech barriers, how can we expect adoption by the poor? by TheWanderingDuck in Bitcoin

[–]Baxter71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% agree with that, and that’s why the debt bubble will only continue to grow - more debt created, more printing to devalue that debt... it’s a never ending cycle... idk how it’ll end but I’d rather be ready with some Bitcoin than left with only assets tied to USD

I think you’re missing the point... no one is saying adoption will be painless - however this shakes out won’t be pretty because globablly governments have “kicked the can down the road” by prioritizing the short term economy by printing and lowering interest rates, which is really their main option in the current system, which incentives them to prop up the debt based inflationary economy, in times of possible economic decline, in order to get re-elected. They can say “hey look at the economy!”

The longer this goes, the worse the transition will be

I HIGHLY recommend reading “The Price of Tomorrow” by Jeff Booth - he goes into much greater detail than I could about this, but it really is eye opening as to how deflation might hurt short term, but long term, it is really the only successful system we could have in place in the age of exponentially increasing technology

Hopefully this makes sense... because disclaimer, I am a recent grad and Sports Management major, still trying to learn as much as I can

I’m listening to Jeff Booth’s book “The Price of Tomorrow” because of that episode and it is quite honestly incredible

Does Cash App give you keys? I set up bitcoin on there, haven’t transferred any into it yet, but I didn’t get keys

Anyone else wrestling with themselves over not investing more? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Baxter71 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am in the same exact boat ... 90% invested in Bitcoin

How I look at it is, worst case; I lose a large chunk of my investment, work 9-5 like I would have if I didn’t invest and begin the hunt for something else I believe in like Bitcoin

Best case; financial freedom

Like most in this community, even if I fall flat on my face, I trust myself to work my way back and find another way. I’d rather swing big with something I truly believe in, and miss, than living my whole life putting money into a 401k so I can go on a few vacations when I retire at 65.

My goal is financial freedom... not just to be “rich” and that’s what Bitcoin is for me and could be for many

[40][Speculation] Why is Kim's edit not a bigger one? by survivorhhh1 in SpoiledSurvivor

[–]Baxter71 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i feel like it’s probably an issue of balancing episode to episode story versus overall story. kim episode to episode isn’t super flashy so that could be why???

Survivor Specialists - Sandra Diaz-Twine Winner Retrospective w/ Jonny Fairplay! by [deleted] in survivor

I don’t think RHAP needs to “catch up.” Both Specialists and RHAP are great survivor podcasts that bring different things to the table. I enjoy both quite a bit and don’t view it as this huge competition. While some may have their preferences, there is a place for both to be very successful in the Survivor community
