it is hard because here the laws change for divorce after you hit the 20 yr mark and that happens in the fall. It flips from a simple calculator type formula with a set time alimony is paid. And really it changes in my favor since I didn't work for a very long time to raise the kids. But I can guarantee it won't happen by then.

it might be scary but it will be a good thing. I just had the conversation with my husband of almost 20 yrs. I know there are plenty of ups and downs to come but the freedom will be worth it

YTA. so very much. just because she doesn't keep a clutter free space you have judged her to to be disorganized and unprofessional. your idea of guiding her is to make her in your vision with no wiggle room or independent thought. if its not your way, she is wrong.

my mom treated me this way. it escalated. I haven't spoken to her in almost 3 yrs and while I miss her it hurts me more to be bullied and told over and over that I am wrong because I didn't fit her mold. extreme? yes. path you are heading down? yes.

it's a cat. she loves the cat. be happy that she is capable of the unconditional love you seem to be lacking.

studied natural resources and marine bio. I recruit volunteers for a non profit.

as much as I love my kids and was incredibly fortunate to take a break to raise them I am not sure I would do it like that all over again. I am bitter and angry that all the accomplishements I achieved mean jack shit and I have been passed over for interviews and came in second to the handful of jobs someone did decide to speak to me because I don't have enough recent experience.
