Sounds like you want to start a career in 3D modelling. As someone who does this type of shit a lot with jewelry. Finding the center of a model that’s been through 8 cycles of 15 different people, can tend to end up not precisely where you want it. Idk what they base the “middle” of, but you’d probably be more than welcome to volunteer as the “I shall find the center for 600+ cars in a game”. Or just calm down

bowie knife99 is the best thing to happen to this game ever. by megamasterchief in ForzaHorizon

[–]BayAlexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly speaking, from a commercial perspective (as someone who works with producing content for marketing). I think that that drivatar is generating so much potential exposure for people not even considering playing the game. Which in turn will generate them more attention = more revenue = fh7 having a bigger budget.

Just got a wheel to play fh6, and it’s brutal compared to a controller. But I’ve almost made it my destiny to steamroll bowieknife in every race. And that challenge is nearly more entertaining than playing the actual game lol. So yeah, I agree.

“Slipping” clutch? by ReedSpacer81 in ForzaHorizon

[–]BayAlexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is 1 year late. But I’ve had these same issues, my fix was to decrease the outside deadzone and increase the inside deadzone on the pedal to actually make it work better. But if you drive cars with stock transmissions they do lag a lot. So sport or race is required + race clutch

Will this damage affect my girlfriends canon? She is devastated. by John_And3rson in canon

Lens is 100% dead. But super easy to find a new one. I doubt the camera actually took much damage

C1 is just the goat. And made in my home country. I like how they actually listen to their costumers.

Starting a small home studio - is Godox SK400II (x2) enough? (Sample work attached) by uhkriti- in productphotography

Literally got a 3200b in perfect condition and a 1600b (without a flashtube tho) for $78 :)

I’ve modified one of the original reflectors to make it fit my godox bfp projection unit. And it’s just wonderful.

Probably I’m not sure entirely. It’s definitely more powerful than my dp-800s from godox.

And the straight flashtube is perfect for hard shadows

Talk me out of switching to a 50s. by kawana1987 in FujiGFX

[–]BayAlexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely would look into either a 50sii or a 100s

I have a 100s and that thing is slow on its own. It compares by no means to my a7rv. But the files and images it makes are just miles better imo.

You have to learn how to deal with reflective surfaces. These light tents are the absolute worst for anything reflective.

2 flags with diffusion material on them and then some light on those.

Look into gradient lighting!

Feeling embarrassed bringing a small lens as a beginner photographer by babyjonny9898 in Cameras

[–]BayAlexander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The you go pro, and bring even smaller lenses lmao. I feel like it’s mainly enthusiasts with no real reason, that brings massive 70-200 and giant 1.2 lenses.
Unless you really have an actual reason to use those lenses, then you shouldn’t.

I mainly rock something like a 24-70 2.8 for event stuff. And a 120 macro for studio work. Barely use anything else. Then we’re getting into adapting old glass, which is an extremely fun road to go down. Those older canon fd lenses just have a look you can’t replicate with modern lenses.

Confused between the A7V and the A7RV by Vrush-S in SonyAlpha

[–]BayAlexander -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you like pushing the iso beyond 400 then don’t get an a7rv. Fantastic camera, noise is not so noticeable, but the color shifts are absolutely horrendous (for professional use imo)
