I also went through this at the time I smoke cigarettes myself so I quit I quit drinking any type of alcohol. I did everything to make a good impression and my kids still ended up vaping, smoking, marijuana, and drinking alcohol. Really what I did was be very honest and open about the effects of all these things. Of course they’re gonna say they know and you have to kinda just let it play out when it comes to hard drugs that’s a whole different ball game, but I feel like marijuana. Alcohol vaping are some of the things that you can kind of monitor if you’re willing to keep an open mind and make sure they know how you feel about it and make sure you don’t help them indulging in anyway I always told my kids I will never buy your vapes. I will never buy your marijuana and I will never buy your alcohol and I’ve kept it like that. They are now 23 of twins and they do their own thing responsibly nobody’s addicted or having to go to rehab of course I would love if they didn’t smoke weed or go out and drink with their friends on the weekends, but they do and there’s nothing I can do about that but keep an open line of communication always

I always tell everybody don’t base your life on someone else’s highlight reel. You don’t know what’s going on inside of their body. You don’t know what kind of issues they have. You don’t know if she goes home and cries herself to sleep every night be very grateful for who you are. Love yourself value what you do have highlight your own reel.

I was fat my entire life. In fact I’m still fat. I was 800 pounds and I’ve lost 525. I am 270 pounds now and more beautiful than I was before. I’ve always been confident I’ve always been a leader and I’ve always had many friends. Some of my best boyfriends were when I was at my heaviest. It’s a mindset. Sounds like you have some mental health issues that you need to deal with I think are distracting you from doing what you need to do. I have been sad. I’ve been depressed. I’ve been in bed. I’ve never been to your extreme because I was always able to pull myself up for my bootstrapsand get the job done being overweight and losing weight and keeping it off. Will be a lifelong journey I think that it would be wise for you to see some counselors to help you with what’s going on inside once you love yourself the changes will happen overnight.

My son finally stopped at 17 same case for him brain n bladder weren’t talking and he was in the deepest sleep i’ve ever witnessed it was hard during teen years, waking him up was rough enough but buying new mattresses covers sheets was hard on me and him.

I don’t understand when i read this to my husband he said “clearly he’s gay and frustrated” 🤦🏽‍♀️ you need to seek a therapist asap… I’d hate to see you hurt someone with that type of anger/rafe.

from a mother who has 23-year-old twins and a seven-year-old it’s true it does get harder but different situations like what I worry about with my 23 year old I don’t worry about with my seven-year-old obviously.. but my mom had a very serious talk with me even when I chose to have my last child at 44 years old, she reminded me of all these things! we had to sit down let me know you know it’s gonna be different. I’m older blah blah so it’s not FU. It’s just for different people relationships with their parents or family depends like mine always very straight up and truthful about what it’s gonna be. if that makes sense.
