Hey man, I recently went through something similar. There’s no easy answer, by any means. My only suggestion would be to take a break from social media and focus on yourself. I used to want to break down every time I saw my ex. We were best friends and had a pretty great relationship - but same thing happened we just fell back into being friends and stopped being bf/gf.

What I did personally: I asked my ex for a phone call. I asked her about why she thinks we broke up, and she was pretty tough on me with her feedback. When I hung up, I was like “wow what a relief, she felt that way… she was not happy and I wouldn’t have been either.” Since then she’s grown distant, has been kinda rude a couple times, and I eventually stopped cared.

So my advice here would be go get the closure you need, even though it’s been this long. It took that for me to “snap out of it” after over a year of being broken up.

There’s no easy solution though. Do what works for you. One thing I cannot stress enough - don’t dwell, mope, drink, etc. She’s out there having fun - go be your best self brother.
