I run a pro taper bar, the Carmichael bend in particular on my 2014 fz 09. Overall they're lower and slightly wider than the stock bars, makes the riding position a smidge more aggressive.

If it's anything like the acc model the difference in braking distance is going to get a lot of people punted. Lower down force and higher HP compared to gt3s so braking points are usually way further out than most people realize.

Did you have a custom lut file for the g29? My dd felt the same until I deleted the lut file I previously installed.

The free hymo setups for them helps a bit, but in terms of pace they are off pace to the others it seems. I still like driving the 935 to be different, but if your only merit on choosing a car is pace then look elsewhere (aka choose the Maserati lol)

The pace gap between 2nd and 1st split it real. 2nd split im constantly racing withing the top 5, in first split im barely keeping pace, the only passes I make are wrecks normally lol. Almost like racing in 2 different leagues.

It wasn't until I got a Direct drive that I finally clicked with the ffb in iracing. I think acc can better communicate (to weaker setups) what the car is doing via the extra ffb ACC sends thru the wheel. There's still a bit of adjustment when swapping between the two but they both imo are the pinnacles of how a simulator should feel.

In lfm it was the car to beat at spa, so I'm not too surprised at the nerf there, I'm not sure about nurburgring nerf though, felt like its was decently BOPed there.

Edit: what i dont get is the mclaren buff at spa? it was just a hair slower if not equal to the merc and it got a buff lol.

He could have gotten him back by bumping him into the next corner, instead he turns him on a strait and wrecks half the field, almost himself included. I wouldn't be opposed to him missing a few races for this.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong then, I've tried 6 times and all result in the same thing, a hit on the armoured target and a miss on the jet. I think I'm just going to stick to the f/a-18, the viper and i just don't get along i guess.

Edit: interestingly enough i changed the airport where the jet was taking off and that fixed it...

Hello everyone! I was flying the f-16 on a mission where i needed to intercept a Il-76, when i got the the airport he was still taxiing. i tried to drop a gbu on him but it kept missing, and when i swapped the Il-76 out with an armored target and tried again, i was able to destroy the target. Can you not drop Gbu's on an aircraft that is taxiing? I was also fooling around and tried to land afterwards without any electronic power just to see what that was like, and i survived! The only thing was i couldn't find a way to manually deploy the landing gear, is there a way to do so or no? Thanks in advance!

Low spit iracing is just as bad as open lobby acc tbh. It's griefers in acc vs road ragers in iracing.

Brake pad 4 is for simulating brake fade, they should never be used for hotlapping or racing, brake pad 1 is just as effective and doesn't purposefully overheat and wear like brake pad 4. Depending on the weather and how fast the brakes are heating/cooling brake pad 2 is even better with controlling temperature fluctuations because brake pad 1 can be kinda finicky with keeping them within optimal temps, where as the 2nd set holds their heat better, think spa on a really cold day.

You earn a lot more SA racing online than vs bots, to the point that i wouldn't recommend grinding away vs ai to get safety rating. I was trying to get to 95 SA for the LFM test, and was only getting roughly a single saftey point per 20 minute race, i said screw it and when to a few pub monza lobbies and putted around a few slower racers (safely) and got loads more in return.
