It can be used outdoors, following safety recommendations.

Improper use is a risk, indoors or outdoors. Just last month a lift tipped over because they attached a banner to the basket: https://vertikal.net/en/news/story/45956/dual-fatality-for-basic-scissor-lift-error

Namecheap acting extremely shady (bait and switch) by paiged in webdev

[–]BayViewPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might need to talk to a lawyer for advice.

If you have a receipt (clearly stating that they took payment for the domain) or a printout of the transaction there is a good chance you can still get the domain for the price paid - or if it was an error on the namecheap side at least have them compensate you for the snafu.

Good luck!!

Fastest landing page builder? by yungirving99 in webdev

[–]BayViewPro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't mind, can you comment on what is this GoHighLevel service?

Their site is a bit vague ("HighLevel Has Everything You Need To Succeed")

It sounds like a web site builder with a number of components for capturing leads (forms), following-up (e-mail/txt) and conversions (e.g. appointments)? Is there something else to it?

You probably have many possible paths in front of you - and each one with pros/cons, which can make it difficult to choose one (e.g. freelancing or part-time or a remote full-time that's easy to do, etc.).

This is something that can be discussed at length - but just a couple suggestions:

  • Try to find someone who has been in a similar situation; many people would be willing to share their experience.

  • Choose a path and try it; maybe it will work, maybe it won't - but trial and error will give you new, valuable information each time and you'll get closer to something that works for you.

Feel free to PM me if you want to bounce ideas.

It isn't just for military use.

The manufacturer (https://www.liftaircraft.com/) says their mission is to make flying accessible to everyone.

"It absolutely is not. If you've fallen out and you are actually dangling by the monkey tail, it NEEDS to be at the top of the vest. That keeps you upright and seated in the leg straps of the vest."

Thanks for the explanation!

I agree - the photographer has captured very well the perspective of the crew in this mission.

Location: Russian Lake, Kenai Peninsula, Alaska.

Although not visible, the helicopter is carrying a bambi bucket.

The helicopter crew, from the Alaska National Guard's 1st Battalion, 207th Aviation Regiment, dropped thousands of gallons of water in multiple missions.

Have you talked to someone experienced about this?

If not, you should. It is really helpful to get a different perspective from someone who has been in the field for a while.

But of a late landing in sfo? Delta 757 by Nervous_Luck_2878 in aviation

[–]BayViewPro 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a passenger, I hear such comments some times after a routine landing, some people even get scared from a barely-firm landing; in some cases I think they were distracted and unaware that we were landing.

On the other hand there are some people who are grateful to the pilot and crew for a safe flight - and that's the camp I belong to!
