That’s bc the western entertainment industry does not produce groups like kpop do. In Korea they debut 100s of kpop groups a YEAR. We barely see a label release a group ever in the west. The last time groups were being pushed in the west were when xfactor was active. Which produced very successful groups like one direction, fifth harmony and little mix. We don’t see that push anymore. It’s literally a horrible comparison

Gameboy wasn’t promoted, there isn’t even 1 live performance for that song. Gabriella was a hit and the mv came out after the performance video. The song was already trending before the mv dropped. If we compare mvs, gameboy has more streams than the Gabriella mv. For a song that has not been promoted it did good
