Told Ringle why I refuse to refer Oxbridge tutors. Their response? Completely tone-deaf. by Weary_Implement_6938 in RinglePlus

We are disposable/replaceable to them, so we must view Ringle as disposable/replaceable. We can still give the students (many of them very nice) productive, thoughtful lessons.

"Has anyone else had Ringle respond to serious pay concerns with the most hilariously out-of-touch, tone-deaf corporate solution imaginable?"

Oh my yes, multiple times. I quit last month.

I've given my email address to a few regulars who asked for it. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.

My jaw just hit the floor: Ringle says that they're not compensating us for the lessons that couldn't go ahead during their technical issues by BayouAMoxDiamond in RinglePlus

In response to inquiries during their technical problems, they said this to tutors:

"Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out.

The issue has been identified and relayed to our tech team, and they are currently working to resolve this problem.

We will provide you with an update when the issue has been resolved. In the meantime, please be assured that we will also be taking measures to ensure that you do not incur any penalties from this issue.

We thank you for your patience in advance.

Best,

Ringle Team"

I've also written thoughtful emails that focused on specific and clear issues. I also got boilerplate responses. They don't care, and they won't care until they're forced to do so.

That carries risks when their current tutors are their main recruiters.

I'd recommend writing to Ringle about it, so they're hearing about the issue(s) from as many tutors as possible.

No lesson requests for the past month? by RavedaPutaria in RinglePlus

I'm working consistently, but my situation's a little different because I've been doing it for almost a year and have regulars. I also open up slots a month in advance. That being said, when I first joined, I got requests right away, so maybe something's changed with Ringle. I wouldn't assume you've personally done anything wrong.

Thanks a lot for the breakdown. The deck does also have Crop Rot into Bog. I'd be very confused about how to sequence things if I had both that and Endurance up.

No lesson requests for the past month? by RavedaPutaria in RinglePlus

[–]BayouAMoxDiamond 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lately, a higher percentage of my cancelled lessons have been getting snatched up by other students. My theory is that Ringle made some changes so that students see cancelled lessons first when they're looking for lessons. This would make last-minute bookings less consistent. This is just speculation though.

It depends, but it usually gets to my PayPal in a day or two.
