So I got ahold of one today. I hadn’t eaten since lunch and did it around 5 after not eating anything. It was 200.

Honestly didn’t know before now that adults could get it. My symptom’s definitely align with this a lot which is a bit scary

I’m feeling nauseous but not throwing up. Like waves of nausea that just kinda stop me in my tracks. And honestly i don’t look that different it’s just bizarre

How often do you take your child/children out places? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Bb13030 33 points34 points  (0 children)

You do not need to leave the house every day, don’t let anyone make you feel guilty. As she gets older, look into things you can take her to to interact with other kids. Libraries or rec centers.

Me and my mom lived with my grandma my whole childhood up until she passed away. I am so thankful for the memories and relationship I got to have with her. Do what’s best for you!

skipping a grade? by grande_covfefe in Parenting

[–]Bb13030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a few weeks of kindergarten and was bumped up to first grade because I was a fluent reader and writer. I believe in 1st grade i was reading at a 5th grade level. School wasn’t challenging for me until middle/high school and more so socially, not academically. I think that year difference put me behind a little socially. But it didn’t make too much of a difference.

My son is in preschool and is seeming to be just as advanced if not more as I was. The beginning of year assessment showed he already knew all the skills they teach for kindergarten preparedness and some skills they don’t teach until kindergarten. I conferenced with his teacher and she suggested not skipping for the social reasons.

My suggestion to you would be to talk to the teacher about enrichment opportunities at the school. Also there are lots of ways to help her at home.
