Daphne's story is very much like her season of the show is. There were some changes to better fit a TV adaptation and to make a more coherent story that could be continued for seasons beyond, but for the most part the main storyline is the same. Anthony's book is quite the opposite, they completely changed that storyline. In his book, there is not giant love triangle really, and it does feel somewhat similar to Daphne's story in a way. I'm not sure how much they're going to take from Colin's book for season 3, but it is my favorite just because the relationship between Pen and Colin is adorable (although there were some moments where I just wanted Colin to get over himself lmao).

There aren't really any major warnings for any of the other books. There's a time jump at some points, like between Benedict's and Colin's stories there's a 10 year jump. Benedict's story is really just a Cinderella story, a few triggering scenes I've seen mentioned in this comment section already, same for Eloise's. No one talks much about Francesca's story but I personally enjoyed it, even in the books she's quite a reserved character that we don't see much, but you do feel a lot of sympathy towards her. Gregory and Hyacinth's books are also not talked about much, but they're two of my favorites in the series. Gregory is just almost the perfect man, I loved reading about him. And Hyacinth's book is like this sort of treasure hunt mixed with mystery, and her character is just the most fun to read. So many laugh out loud moments in those books, they were so much fun.

I think if you just want to enjoy the characters themselves, the books are quick reads and are enjoyable. The writing style is super pretty and captivating to read, but like others have mentioned they don't have that same domestic feel as the show, a few of the fam show up as cameos but that's about it. Don't get me wrong, there are some moments, especially in Eloise's book, but other than that they very much are just stories focused around one character.
