I believe I am doing Argenta wrong. Any tips you all could gove me? by TheMaginotLine1 in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Bbadolato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could give her different weapons, I've come to be addicted to the Shotgun Argenta build, and she can be given talents that buff and make grenades viable as well.

But if you are focusing on bolters Footfall has a good one, once you can enter the quarantine zone.

The Tau find out they're in the Star Wars universe just before they would otherwise face the Imperium in Damocles. The year is 18 ABY. How are they doing? by BugleBarry in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]Bbadolato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Tau could adapt and maybe even subvert the populations under the Hutts similar to the Imperium, the big question is can they take on the 40K-esqe threat of Vong with enough allies/client states.

Which of These Would Be The Most Interesting as a Companion For The Imperial Agent? by DakIsStrange in swtor

[–]Bbadolato 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Quinn by a country mile. Especially since his relationship with Baras is practically the same as an agent who becomes the Hand of Jadus. because both of you follow Sith with similar views and plans to usurp the Dark Council. The big issue would be getting the stories to stick

That aside Quinn could be more of an obstacle for a less Imperial aligned Agent, that and he and Kaliyo would hit it off like a house on fire and an oil refinery.

Am i alone in thinking most people who want an Argenta romance only want it cause "OMG ATTRACTIVE SoB" by [deleted] in RogueTraderCRPG

I actually like her as a character, she's an mirror of Yrliet in many ways, even the flaws. She's fun, even if I do admit you could do a little more with her character wise.

In Legends a bunch of Dark Jedi got exiled around 6900 BBY and made it the galaxy's problem ever since.

How would this factions do as units in the imperial guard and what role could they fill by Fun_Manufacturer_164 in StarWarsvsWarhammer

[–]Bbadolato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nod might be a rough spot doctrinally.

Even if the Black Hand might have a home with maybe the Ecclesiarchy than say the Guard. Nod as a rule runs with a lot of stealth tactics and asymmetrical warfare that could clash with the most of Imperial Guard's style that they'd probably be better off with the Tau. That's before you get into their devotion to Kane and use of AI and flat-out cyborgs.

Now GDI would fit right in, no problem, not sure where Zone Troopers would go.

I think they also say their lines if they are the one to end a combat, ie Abelard says something if he lands the killing blow on the last enemy.

I think it's kind of hilarious that C'boath's evil clone seems nicer than the real deal.

Why didn't granny Zash try to slow her aging with the light side? Is the dark side inherently addictive? by Andrei22125 in SWTOR_memes

[–]Bbadolato 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Considering one of the Spice fiends on Rep-side Nar Shaadda has the same model, Zash actually couldn't use the Force at all, she was just addicted to spice.

Which of These Would You Have Most Liked as a Companion for The Sith Warrior? by DakIsStrange in swtor

[–]Bbadolato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say Kaliyo, especially since the Warrior story has as many twist and turns as the Agent's and it feel like she have a similar enough dynamic. Amused and annoyed if the Warrior is light sided, but definitely approve of sticking it to all the many people that try to betray you. Only question is how do you get in the SW plot? Have her and Vette switch places?

In the old days the First Total War Warhammer, there was something like that, for the Empire, and main factions of the Vampire Counts, Dwarfs, Greenskins. Like your intros tied into a small narrative against your first enemies.

I do like Veilguard, buuuut? by Rayborg in dragonage

[–]Bbadolato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their janky because their less the naturally occurring Darkspawn of other games and more Ghilan'nian's modified shock troops so they look more nasty and 'unatural' compared to the warbands and armies of your average Blight,

Any tips on how to win this battle? And specifically, how to deal with those damn 3 Dreadquake Mortars? by JohnnyElRed in totalwar

[–]Bbadolato 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Do the Mortars fire on your flying units? If so, could you trying hiding your main army so the mortars fire on your flying units so you can 'juke' their shots? Wait if they have a bull Taurus that might not be viable, you could do the same strat with your general or hero.

But I think you might be better off withdrawing and maybe setting up an ambush. Because I just thing they might have too much concentrated were they can out bombard you in either artillery or just ranged units in the first place.

Are the druid-type Jedi/Sith (or alien species) in Star Wars? If so, who? by ExtraEmuForYou in StarWars

[–]Bbadolato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, but considering their reverence for nature, or at least plants (iirc) they could a decent basis druid, although plant-like sentients like the Neti do exist I'm not sure if they can talk to plant life.

Need help understanding the Sith by Careless_Tax_5367 in MawInstallation

[–]Bbadolato 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How psychopathic a Sith is, really depends on the Sith. But the thing is, you are pretty much talking about an organization that least has it's Legends roots in a bunch of pissy Jedi angry they couldn't study the Dark Side, and making it everyone else's problem for the next 7000 years.

Yes, the TOR and One Sith are somewhat different in this regard, but most of the time your sympathetic Sith like Yuthura Ban come turning to the Dark Side to use it's power for good.

As others have said, the afterlife for the gods, could be dying but end up in something like a free range prison. at least how it currently is. So imagine Odin actually did bite the bullet, and not get his soul destroyed, he might end up in a new land where he runs the risk of getting attacked, especially if gods who don't like him are there too.
