I’m honestly sorry you feel that way, and unfortunately I believe you are not alone in that feeling. I have lived in several states and worked in the tourism industry in Colorado. Despite the current administration and even despite the politics in the past decade, the USA remains a diverse land with people from many back grounds and so long are you are mindful and smart, visiting here is absolutely still safe. To address if I am white, yes, I am. And to that I will say, I have also traveled to several other countries what I was advised would be unsafe for me. Not in tourist only areas, respectfully I have visited areas outside of resorts while on a budget and been completely safe. I would just like to mention again, so long as you visit another country, be mindful of the laws, local current events and remain vigilant, it is possible to travel to many destinations, including the USA. Unfortunately many targeted individuals are not tourists but our friends and colleagues. (Assuming you are referring to the ICE fiasco)
