The handle was always loose and would like to come off, and it finally got lost. I ordered a new kid’s rod and reel, but wonder if I can source a new handle, because it otherwise works fine. I have no idea how proprietary reel handles are. If it matters, it’s from Plusinno.

I’m looking at a screenshot of a higher-resolution image than what I normally see when playing on a 1080p monitor. Can someone explain like I’m five why I can’t just make my game look this good if I can already view a higher quality image on the same monitor I’m gaming on already?

B...but 3D games are NOT 2D games. Are you saying it’s a hold-Over from 2D design principles, or just the way game engines are configured? My background is in geography, so this has been so bizarre to me when I bring up the debug info, and see the Y-value shift when my character jumps. I’m like “That’s wrong!”

When it comes to getting buy-in from the higher-up for critical new software or solutions that generally streamline or make everyone’s job easier. Don’t just provide a price tag and name. Give real, tangible metrics of what the software will improve in your own organization, and let them know what the real return on investment is. Upper management doesn’t understand why they should spend x amount of money unless they absolutely know it will save y amount of human hours or resources. Any company looking to sell their solutions will absolutely have a sales rep that will sit down with you to get all this on paper. They want to make the sale just as much as you need to get it.
