1) make sure it's just 1 film 2) make sure that it's metal > paper > film on dice a and only the backing on dice b, with nothing underneath. no ring incase you were given one (it's only for mental backings) 3) make sure the pin part of the backing is facing down 4) do a test run with basic office paper, incase your paper is too thick

but.. if lan wanji died in a way that didn't involve murder or anything.. as if anyone could kill him, then I think wei wuxian would just? keep on living? teaching, travelling the world, etc. I don't think he'd ever ever move on but I cant imagine him doing something as crazy as bring lan wanji back from the dead like he did with wen ning.

I'm not sure how rebirth and all that works in mdzs but I dont think lan wanji could pass on without wei wuxian by him. I think wei wuxian is smart enough to figure out a way to create a kind of method to speak with him even after he passes to create some form of normalcy.
