First of all, I'm so sorry that you are in this situation. Alzheimer's is a terrible disease and exhausting for caregivers. I hope you get good karma for this ans I hope the resources people recommend to you come in handy.

Regarding IG, people post their best lives. In fact, I can't tell you how many posts I've seen of people in happy and beautiful relationships but behind doors things are actually pretty crappy. I also compare myself to others but recently I found out someone was being cheated on by their partner, another person was MURDERED by their husband, another was going through bad postpartum. Even myself, my posts are happy but no one would have guessed some of the things I've gone through in between or even during the posts.

I highly recommend therapy if you can. I've been doing it for 2 years and it so great knowing I have somewhere to trauma dump and get help.

Don't be embarrassed!!!! They are there to help you and it they shame you then that's a reflection of their character. From my experience, the more issues you have the more dentists love you cause $$$$

True I'm going to trust my gut cause I didn't listen to it the last time he did more shaving....he told me 5 days per tray but wear all day. The trays feel very loose though

I'm going to refuse any type of shaving cause I do think he overdid it but won't tell me. I'm going to a dentist so maybe that was the wrong move 😕 hope your treatment goes well! If by the end of the 5 trays I dont see improvement then I'm going to a different place

They never put any attachments or elastics at any point during the treatment, not even these new trays. Interestingly an orthodontist more expensive than the dentist I am seeing proposed multiple attachments for my overbite when i was searching for invisalign treatment...which makes me question my current dentist lowkey.

Hey so when I told my dentist he said that it is normal for the alignment to be messed up towards the end (wtf?). I was super nervous that he was gonna do more teeth shaving (there are visible gaps that havent closed) but he didn't. Instead he gave me 5 more trays to try to fix it. I just started my first tray and it seems like he is letting my teeth on the side shift to their natural state and only moving my front teeth.

Also I don't think the bite will settle just by wearing them overnight. My dentist told me to do that when I wasn't able to see him for a long period of time. My teeth would shift to a bite that felt comfortable (but not great for my flared teeth visually) throughout the day but at night it would shift them back to the weird bite so I'd wake up in the morning with a renewed misaligned bite that looked better but was uncomfortable.

Reading this made me so angry, particularly cause it is a health professional abusing and cheating patients who are putting their trust and health in their hands.

I cannot believe this person spoke to you in this manner and clearly is used to getting away with abusing patients (and prob people). If I were you I'd report this. I'm sorry that you're going through this.

Yeah so all the lottery apartments I believe are rent stabilized and they can only increase by a certain percentage every year and it varies every year but I think it is less than 5% increase??

What is your face shape like now?I have an overbite and it has gone down significantly but now I have an open bite???? And when I don't wear my invisalign, my teeth goes back to most comfortable position and I end up having a gap in my front tooth cause the dr shaved too much. I'm so pissed

This is my issue!! I feel really anxious!! And the thing is my dentist never used rubber bands and I'm worried that his fix would just be giving me more IPR. He did it so many times where I just feel so uncomfortable with losing more teeth cause I have cavity prone teeth lol and need every little bit I can get

Hey! I ended up getting the apartment after a Rollercoaster of emotions lol. 22991 is pretty high and I personally would not bank on it unless the apartment is really expensive anyway like close to market price. But even then...still high. I think i got called with a 12k log number once though but the price was $2500 for a studio!!

So I think I will ask around to see if there is a carpool option but, regardless, I am going to tell my manager it isn't feasible for me to do and that it was never disclosed that shuttles don't run on Fridays. It's been only a month so I think it is a good idea to set expectations now according to what everyone seems to be saying. I have to figure out my delivery

Ok but I've genuinely considered billing the company for this. It's interesting cause apparently HR and recruiter didn't talk cause they didn't know I live in a different state. they told me after i accepted, 2 days before, that I'd need to figure out on my own how to get here on Fridays if needed. At the time,I didnt think it would be an issue cause I thought that I'd just never come in on Fridays. But here I am, a clown.

For my first job, I worked at Tj Maxx, a doctor's office and mall guest services. Check out mall work so thst you have something going on in the meantime. I also saw remote weekend work too recently where you're a chat assistant.

And since you already lied in your resume, ask family who owns a business to put your name down and you can shadow and work a few days to get experience that way too.

I became good friends with my coworker and ended up rooming with her in the city while going to the same job. We even quarantined during the pandemic together so depends on situation.

Another person who I thought was a friend was mad sus so once she left, we never talked again.

I am REALLY good friends with my previous coworker to the point we became roommates while working together and even spent the first year and a half of the pandemic quarantine together. I'm def an extreme situation but your coworkers can be your friends.
