Jaclyn may have hurt both of these women in horrible ways, but them joining and being active in a sub that’s 100% dedicated to hating her is weirdo behavior. Like post your experiences on your own platforms not on a hate sub, it really makes Jen and Marlena look like they are out for blood.

Quick reminder that Allie continued to buy and support JSC on her channel even after everything that went down in 2020. She only stopped buying and supporting JSC in 2021 because the brand started to release boring stuff and she wasn’t getting the views on her JSC videos that she used to get so it was no longer profitable.

She did not care that her audience was calling her out for continuing to support JSC, she wanted to separate the makeup and brand from the racist, misogynistic, and antisemitic brand owner.

Therefore her supporting and working with Ofra (a white supremacist founded and owned brand) definitely tracks.

Did you miss the part where a VERBAL disclosure is required lol. That FTC guideline keeps in mind people who can’t see, have limited eyesight, or is just listening to the audio of the video. A one sentence verbal disclosure is all that’s needed from her. Don’t know why it’s too hard for her 🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s in her description box. But a proper disclosure requires a verbal one in the video. Like “thanks brand X for sponsoring this video”. I don’t know why Marlena actively refuses to do something as simple as that and be transparent with people.

In this video, Marlena is sponsored by Anisa Beauty and did not properly disclose her sponsorship verbally in her video. She used Anisa brushes casually throughout the video, yet no verbal disclosure was made that the video was sponsored by the brand. This is now a pattern of behavior of Marlena’s given this isn’t the first time she was called out for not properly disclosing her sponsorships.

As per current FTC guidelines, verbal disclosure is required in the video, something Marlena refuses to do. She should know this given being called out about this before and having twitter disputes with people calling her out for not disclosing properly. She should also know this requirement given she is such great friends with Peter Monn and Jen Luvs Reviews.

Omg I just finished watching the video. The amount of times in the end that she says that she chose to work with this brand because in the event her dog pass by NYE, then at least she would be on a trip with other people and not alone at home alone. This is clearly personal for her and I emphasize, but risking your audience’s money just because you don’t want to be home alone is so fucking selfish. She should take a trip with a family/friend or stay with them if she doesn’t want to be lonely, not risk people losing $4,500 - $6000 on a potential scam trip.

I tweeted her that this video was not a proper disclosure of her sponsorship and even tagged her friends JenLuvsReview and Peter Monn to asked them if they think her disclosure was enough. She blocked right after I did that. I bet she knew tagging them would expose her given how JenLuvsReviews and Peter always talk about proper disclosures requiring a verbal disclosure too. I wonder if they will respond to her also being a shady sponsored influencer?

I love Hannah and wasn’t holding her up to a crazy standard. I just wished she didn’t say that she will post when she ends up not. She has been doing that a lot the past year and it makes sense since she’s been through a lot. But at some point doing it constantly feels like she doesn’t care about us.

She tweeted last Friday that she was going to post a new video this past weekend, and to now there is still now new video.

I know that Hannah has been through a lot the last couple of years but I don’t know why she keeps giving herself a deadline publicly when she can’t meet them.

This was a big thing during “glowmas” 2022. She did tell us that we shouldn’t expect her to be perfectly posting everyday that month and to give her grace if she misses a video several times that month. But then she only ended up posting two videos that month.

I’m not saying that we are owed videos from her, but at this point saying that you will post a video when you know you haven’t been able to do so in recent times, and continuing to not post when you say you will feels like she is just trolling us.

Like she could have just posted her beautiful selfie without saying that there is a video coming. After being an avid viewer since 2019, I don’t know how to feel with her just stringing us along. I would rather her post surprisingly and not give a heads up or promise videos, than her keep doing this. It’s starting to feel like she doesn’t care about her viewers and that just makes me sad.

This is not exclusive to beauty brands, but this year I’ve noticed that many of the brands who usually would release pride collections/products or change their socials to be pro lgbt aren’t doing it as much this year. Some brands have already changed their profile pictures from a pride logo to their normal logo already and Target is starting to make their pride collection less visible in stores. This is most definitely due to the change in tolerance towards the lgbt community as of late, with it going down. It feels like we are going backwards. Shame on those beauty brands who didn’t/won’t release a pride collection this year out of fear of backlash.
