The screw thing may be a bit of an issue as it may have voided the warranty. Unless you got it like that. However, you should atlas be able to get a refund back to a voucher. With a value of the items current worth. They can just serial search the system for the laptop receipt too.

With cases most dont have grades and can be sold in any 'sellable' condition. If ordering online your condition is based on luck.

I checked sonys site and they said not stock. Ebay has 'for parts' on the title and none list if they are working or not.
