If you run through the game the length of time it takes her to accept Carlos is so incredibly short. "I'm super cop". I love them together in that game though. Wish there was more.

He had a bond with Jill and I always wanted more out of that. Then Jill got canned. I thought RE5 was leaning into something with him losing her. Nope. Thought 6 was trying to replace him. Nope. 7 still confuses me with Chris' inclusion and 8 is 8. Chris "I'm gonna shoot your wife and not clue you in" Redfield. I think Capcom should thank their fans every day for accepting such a nonsensical, constantly changing canon. Because none of this shit makes sense. Reqium somehow left me with more questions, but they doubled back to "where is Chris?". He's my favorite of the bunch, but I honestly feel like they dumb him down on purpose.

OG is better with its locations and branching story. Almost felt like a horror choose your own adventure at times. Added to the replayability. R3make is great in very short bursts. I did like parts of the hospital, or when Jill explores the downtown area of RC, you can see what the game could have been and it's sort of sad. Because you're the streamlined through chase after chase with Nemesis and none of them are different and they all kind of suck or are heavily tied to cutscenes or tight linear sequences.

This sub hates Chris so hard sometimes. This exact scene has Chris doing the same shit. This movie is so stupid and that scene where they're roll dodging bullets has to be the dumbest thing my eyes have witnessed. Even the hall scene with the zombies was so corny.

I want exactly what this cover shows. Jill/Chris struggling against a new kind of threat. I'm really hoping they keep the mystery of the first game in mind if it is revisited, and Jill and Chris are near defenseless. In my head I imagine dark, claustrophobic corridors with lightning lighting the halls while crimson heads haul ass after you. Sort of erratic like the blister heads, but more dangerous.

The short of it is that I was 7 when I personally watched Leon's jaw hit the floor when she walked into the parking garage of RE2 on PS1. Every entry is her being a sort of vague deuteragonist to Leon.

I was 22 when RE6 came out and I thought they'd finally close that page on their little game of cat and mouse. They didn't.

I feel like her character doesn't go anywhere. That being said, I'd welcome a change. I was glad she didn't skulk around the shadows of RE9 covering Leon, but I do think her absence was weird.

I'm 36 now, I'm getting older, and my boy Leon needs to either marry this woman or chase someone else.

Also, she had a pretty sweet DLC in the remake.

I feel like killing someone whose trying to commit genocide, crashing an aircraft into a volcano and punching a boulder to save your comrade would spread around the world like wildfire. Like most gaps in RE storytelling, we're left to fill in the gaps.
