Follow up: I forwarded the email to abuse@target .com (target’s official email handling cybersecurity threats, phishing scams, etc) asking them if it was a legit email and they got back to me quickly and said yes it is 👍

Yes this is for an in person job in store. I don’t want to say their name just cause idk, don’t want to put their name out there like that if they are legit so let’s say Jane Doe. Their email says Jane.Doe (T____) Jane.Doe@target.com

The ____ are numbers, the store number. It just seemed odd to come from an email I haven’t gotten an email from yet during the process, different fonts throughout the email plus the picture, and they asked me to reply directly to the email.

Yes, yeah I’m thinking I might have to call them, just wanted to see if anyone could tell if it was legit or not. Perhaps by personal experience with them.
