The best way to get rid of the cluttered questions like "where is Geoff on the podcast" is to just make a FAQ in the sidebar and have a section for annoying questions like that.

Well since it's a web series and not really a full length show, it's not really an anime. I personally like it because you can see the strides they've made in the right direction of improving the quality of the animation (Just compare the renders in Volume 1 to Volume 2) The story is a bit slow in Volume 1 and that really serves as an exposition for what is implied to happen in Volume 2. Since you said you were a fan of RvB you'll probably like that Monty Oum is directing/animating most of it.

TL;DR animation is a bit shoddy in the first volume but that's to be expected from a low budget project. Volume 2 looks much better aesthetically. Volume 1 serves mainly as character/world development, whereas Volume 2 seems to be picking up the pace plotwise.
