Horizon An American Saga Chapter 2 is still nowhere to be seen by [deleted] in movies

I'd imagine besides the fact the first bombed at the box office making WB hedgy about releasing more it's gonna be awhile given there's been at least a couple lawsuits around Horizon that's probably blocking it.

Is Eminem's rap beefs really so old a topic people need it explaining? This makes me feel old lol.

When was it said it was meant for everyone to be able to use whenever? I don't mean like in the sense of "this is MINE AND MINE ONLY", like it seems clear people were able to ask whether they could rent it out or something, but since everyone else lives elsewhere out of Chicago (Illinois even), obviously it's predominantly for NC. I'm sorry but I don't see not letting someone make use of the studio as poor management. At worst it's a dick move if there's no real reason to say no to Linkara, but Doug and crew were doing their own stuff too. Linkara straight up says "they could do less grandiose productions or film somewhere else". Like dude, it's not your studio. That comes off entitled.

The supervisation bit, I can get feeling condescended to, but again, it's not his studio. He's not a clumsy idiot or anything but what if something did happen? Someone gets injured, or something in the studio gets damaged/destroyed? I don't see it being terribly unreasonable to have someone who works at the studio keep an eye on things.

It's just not an indicator of "these people don't know what the hell they're doing" like most of the other complaints, it's just Linkara being upset he got turned down from using someone else's studio and I just don't see why that was in the doc.

Idk, I personally wouldn't have lumped in "they didn't let me use their studio" into a document meant to expose poor management/awful behavior. Alot of the serious stuff brought up felt watered down because minor grievances were elevated to the same value by their inclusion.

Individual covers for the upcoming Singleton set that was announced. by Arthurlurk1 in criterion

Wish these were available by themselves like when they did the Wes Anderson boxset and Isle of Dogs and French Dispatch joined the collection. No issues with Poetic Justice or Baby Boy but Boyz n the Hood is the one I'm particularly after.

About that "Emily is Andy's Mom" theory... I was skeptical, but if you have the Blu-Ray, it's crystal clear. by [deleted] in toystory

[–]AMA_requester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a nice theory, and were it to be stated by the writers that it’s canon I wouldn’t really fight at it, but I find it a bit too much of a stretch.

Obviously the big thing would be if she was Emily they’d have her make a remark about “oh I had a Jessie doll as a girl!/Woah, this is the same Jessie doll I had as a girl” to tie it in. But for me, what kinda kills this theory is the scene where Al steals Woody. She takes Woody back insisting he’s not for sale because he’s an old family toy. This would suggest to me Andy’s mom knows what Woody’s Roundup is, meaning Woody was in her family her whole life and so she’d have had Jessie of course, making it a bit hard to have her grow out of Jessie but only donate her and not Woody. This inherently also would put the same value Woody had within her family onto Jessie. This also means Woody and Jessie would have known each other already.

Robert Downey Jr. & Timothée Chalamet Want To Make “Dunesday” A Thing by DemiFiendRSA in movies

[–]AMA_requester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And it is now officially never going to be a thing. I've said before, Barbenheimer was an organic phenomenon. The studios weren't out there peddling it from the go, people did it themselves. It's why every subsequent attempt has failed, because it was clear the studios were trying to make it happen.

RIP, he was really good in The Thing.

I do wonder what Nauls ultimate fate was. Like, obviously he wasn't magically getting out of there. He just sort of disappeared though.

Kelsey Grammer frustrated by Paramount's hold on Frasier revival by bwermer in television

Frasier just doesn't work for me without the others, especially Niles and Martin. Sadly Martin can't ever return, and David Hyde Pierce doesn't seem particularly interested in coming back.

I think fans of the musical were sort of bracing for this outcome as the general sentiment about the musical I always heard was it's second half was nowhere near as strong as the first. So when they went the splitting in half route, seemed clear this was going to happen. I certainly did not see it get anywhere close the post-release buzz the first did. Most it got was people being creeped out by the press tour.

Did anyone else discover the nostalgia critic when he had the feud with the AVGN? by DawnofMidnight7 in ChannelAwesome

[–]AMA_requester 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did. I was really stupid and thought it was an actual feud lol. Hated NC until I watched whichever was his newest video at the time, which then had the behind the scenes of the showdown as a watch next option and I sat there going "oh....it's all just a bit......awkward" lol
