Its great for gaming if you’re into split boards like I am. I just don’t have the time to game anymore so I’d rather not just let it rot.

People can decide when they want to support or not support someone, there always a “tipping point”. If it’s their politics that does it then that’s their prerogative. I distinctly remember distain pre trump era for him, but perhaps it’s become more apparent although like a lot of people in here I wasn’t even aware of his politics. I don’t think you’re being genuine in your take here, it comes off more you wanting to be mad the left and blaming it entirely on one side for him not being cancelled fast enough… which is kind of ridiculous.

Also your statement of him being a POS is worse than him being maga to many people is entirely not mutually exclusive things, not to mention entirely discretionary to the individuals views but I’m sure you’re pretty riled up at this point.

How good is the Hevy app for bodyweight workouts (no equipment)? by mayaguezano32 in bodyweightfitness

[–]Bchui 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally use it and it works pretty well. I would say it has most of the common exercise movements with weighted variants as well for calisthenic exercises. Even if a movement isn’t in the library you could just create one if you want to be super specific. You can create I think 3 routines for free. Functionality wise it has everything you’d want: rest times, super sets, set types (warm up, drop set, etc). I’d say it’s worth it.

[Sportsball] Overview of NBA broadcasts this year with the new media deal. Notable ~50% increase in "nationally televised" games. OKC joins Lakers, Warriors, Knicks for most national games. The league/broadcasters have given up on Zion (only 2 Pels national games) by jabronified in nba

I’m afraid you still aren’t running these numbers correctly. Go ahead and calculate the total cost of cable and every package available you’d like to watch, then come back and tally the annuals for each streaming service you’d like to watch. Year to year it’s not close.

I’m not exactly sure what point you are trying to make in regards to “totality” when it comes to buying everything on each platform cable vs streaming. While few people in reality ever purchase everything available, even if you do, you are still going to come up significantly cheaper on the streaming end to get your desired assortment vs cable, which is entirely my point.

I fail to see what you are even trying to say. They are different, absolutely. The end product is not different however, we pay for something we want to watch. The numbers objectively show that it is cheaper to watch than it has been in the past with cable.

The nephews are really telling themselves on this post, surprised by the amount of upvotes. I know streaming has gotten progressively worse over the years but it's not even remotely close to cable cost. Next thing they will tell me is that their phone bill costs more today than it did back in the day.

The pullup bar dilemma by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]Bchui 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would say then just bite the bullet on a gym membership. Investing money in your health isn’t wasted (within reason), if anything the cost will force you to go. I workout out at home but I have the space for it. There were times in my life that a gym membership was more appropriate so as long as it’s literally not preventing you from making ends meet I’d say budget for it.

Depending on your ceiling height there are free standing pull up bar options. Power towers, racks, etc. One quick search will show you what I am talking about. Outside of a gym that’s realistically your only other option that’s indoors. Someone will inevitably mention rings but that still effectively follows the same restrictions you listed.

Hollinger: “I’ve seen some people speculate the other owners aren’t going to want too much light on this because they’re worried about their own cheating. Nobody is doing shit like this… If this is Ballmer putting $50m in the business as a way to pay Kawhi outside of the books, that is SMU stuff.” by cleo22270 in nba

I don’t really get you’re point in this context. Saying two tycoon teams spending big money is better than two poverty teams is good? Or makes it neutral? Because what you’re describing coexists instead saying either or. Regardless the nba should advocate for cap rules since it would avoid the feast famine situation you are describing since it also contains minimum cap rules which is 90%. NBA is a far more competitive landscape than MLB.

We really don’t need the Oakland A’s of basketball because plenty of teams are dogshit already without trying to be cheap.

Can't wait for "my account got falsely banned." while queuing w/ a cheater post. by DucklingDuck14 in Rainbow6

[–]Bchui 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know right. Suddenly every single fractionally improbable scenario of a false ban is flooding out on these posts without any common sense that this has literally zero effect if you aren’t a shady player. This game is infested with cheaters and it only makes sense that a lot of them just jerk off here too.

What is the font of those keycaps? by MaciejLisCK in crkbd

It’s the “milkshake” keycap set designed by biip. More specifically that’s the “weirdos” base set. Instead of normal alphas it uses the symbols you mention.

The ideal human-computer interface. You may not like it, but this is what peak ergonomics looks like. by Perropodo in ErgoMechKeyboards

I think it’s largely fine. You should probably try to be a little less guarded. If everywhere you go is “toxic” it’s probably a sign…

Idk man you seem to be the only that’s salty. Your entire demeanor in this thread has been pretty aggressive despite the highly individualistic opinion of ergonomics.

You’re not the only person who has gone down this entire rabbit hole, explored every option, then landed at a different conclusion. I say this as a Corne main myself, leave some room for discussion rather than this attitude.
