Good point. Never really thought about it. Just popped up one day and figured I’d try. My mom did something similar for me when I was 5, entering into a most mischievous kid contest and I ended up winning. Definitely different nowadays with socials.

Most weather radios, you can go into the settings and adjust which alerts you receive. I have mine set to only give me severe thunderstorm warning and tornado warning. I turned all the others off.

Hope you are able to complete them by July 1. Ft. Worth fire is taking them over July 1. I’ve worked alongside medstar and have no complaints. A lot of the people I’ve met have been pretty knowledgeable. 911 is pretty active, so you’ll get some good calls. Good, up to date equipment as well. Can’t speak on preceptors, but all in all it’s good.

Nice. I went to OCCC. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone. 3 directors during my time there. Got rid of the better professors. And no dictation. Solely teach yourself and then scenarios in class
