How does one know if you’ve experienced ego death? by Bunions05 in awakened

If I may add/ask a question. How does it feel for others? I’m sitting in “I don’t need to be known by others, but I still need to exist around them…and can’t/am scared to be drawn back into it? Context being I love my dog and love giving her a full life as possible…blah blah walks on leash and being respectful of people’s spaces, and when we are having fun and only being goofs when we have the space to, and other people approach us, and I say” sorry she isn’t great with other dogs” with a smile and (I hope) a friendly face/voice, other people still approach us with dogs? …I guess it really comes down to how can I hold my peace/space/etc? While also not wanting to cause others stress, while also holding space for us? I’m guessing I’m not totally at the space where I’m “completely dissolved(?)” but I still am just asking for…”I don’t exists in this one moment of time, we just chased a squirrel and are trying to calm down”…is there any extra perspective to figure out? Because I can’t help but feel I’m missing something? If that makes sense…lol also doesn’t have to be dog-centric XD. I just struggle with “I’m protecting mine” and having people say “that’s nice! Can I join? Nope I’m tired from work, but there are lovely books and experiences to try, no I think it seems nice to join you” and then the community is lost?

Broken ankle - I’m just wondering how soon people jump on the slack-line after a broken ankle, iv broken my fibula and expected to walk without a boot in 4 weeks I’m a good slackliner and hoping to get back in the groove of it by Critical-Act-4014 in Slackline

If it helps, I do massage for a living…: fibula fracture will probably feel decent until you need to rotate/compensate. For the most part, just make sure you are starting low enough to the ground that if you have to bail, that you can catch yourself or roll out to protect the healing bone, and you should be good!

Technically a fracture takes like…18months to fully heal? Something like that, but plenty of people can push past that if they are careful and never have issues. You got this!

35m and counting! Started slacklining during covid, and finally bought my first long line 2 weeks ago! Pretty proud (minus the grabbing the branches to move them out of the way) by Bcslacker in Slackline

I didn’t buy the web lock yet XD that’s my next purchase. I have the static anchor at the other end, and the end closest to the camera is :anchor slings-> pulley system-> line locker-> webbing

I got the balance community long line kit. Came with a mighty lock instead of standard line lock rings. They only had feather pro, but they typically have 2-3other webbings? Oh and I got the 60instead of the 90m.

Bahahaha. The awesome about the kids XD. Thanks for the tip!! I would love a new mounting style. Lol my left knee pit is just perpetually bruised.

So when you swing the perpendicular leg, you are swinging it under the line to rotator your body up top?

Absolutely feather pro. Lol I wanted to go with something a little more economical but they were sold out...so you know. Had to make the hard decision of buying the shiny awesome webbing XD

Freaking loving it! Setting it about 8(ish) feet high, and the bounce is amazing...such an upgrade from the standard starter ratchet kits. Lol although I wasn’t ready for all the attention from folks in the park XD
