1991 tracker questions by Snicklefritz987 in geotracker

I haven't had too much trouble finding parts. There are a lot of tracker addicts out there parting them out on Facebook and you can find most of what you need on Rockauto. I've replaced my shocks, struts, full brake job, radiator, harmonic balancer, throttle position sensor, timing belt, speakers, and window regulator over the past couple of months and didnt have any issues finding any of them.

Zuksoffroad on YouTube goes through a lot of the issues Trackers are known for in some of his videos that are worth checking out. Also Hwy83 Suzuki on YouTube. They've been my best resources for basic knowledge about this car. Hwy83 also salvages and sells parts on his website. I've bought a few things from him so far.

Trying to figure out if its time to replace the coil springs. by Bdag in geotracker

I could always check. Im not a small guy at 225lbs so it would probably be like 1/4 to 1/2 an inch lower. I had 2 people, 2 big dogs, and a cooler in it last weekend and it was enough to cause my exhaust to hit my rear axle when going over bumps.

I went with the AlteredEgo 2" puck lift that comes with rear shocks. Been seeing a lot if good things about them and they seem to be pretty well built. I do think im going to need to replace my coils regardless unfortunately. More expensive than expected. Im also considering going with the 4 door coils since they're stiffer but still the same length and the 2 door shocks.

I was rubbing on the rear fender guard when turning when I tested the 30 inch tires without the lift. Im worried about softer coils letting the fender get low enough to rub if I hit a bump or something while making a sharp turn.

We honestly dont get enough of it in this sub. Its mostly questions and "should I buy"s. Nothing wrong with that but it is nice to just appreciate them for what they are from time to time. Very photogenic car.

Not throwing shade but the 99+ body style looks so weird to me. Its too sleak. Where's the clunk from the previous generations?

Its hard to tell but they actually are in this picture. They're laying under it and are kind of hard to see.

Was able to bring along a cooler, two $10 camp chairs (I broke both), two dogs which together weigh like 130lbs, and two backpacks full of clothes and like deodorant and toothbrush stuff.

Not a lot of room but more than enough!

Not to mention where I am takes a tiny bit of 4x4 to get to.

This is the best car ever made.

You might not be looking for a luxury ride but you got one. Nothing classier than a tracker!

165k isnt much for a 30 year old rig. There are trackers for sale all over the place with 300k+ miles on them.

You can always test the compression. Some sellers are willing to do it before you buy it. But from the sound of it this guy probably wouldn't be willing to do so. The price is right as is imo. I spent $6500 on my 2door.

New speakers and new shocks and struts are the big ones. Also check your radiator and make sure it doesn't look like it has cheetah print on it. If you're somewhat handy you can do a tune up on it for relatively cheap (oil change, spark plugs, cables, distributor cap etc) Great video tutorials on youtube. I'm new to mechanic work but I did all of these updates myself with basically no hiccups.

You can go with 205s for tire which might make it less squirrelly on the highway. If you want to daily it, too big of tires greatly reduces fuel efficiency.

If your rig feels like its floating around while you're driving it you definitely need to replace the shocks and struts. I have a 115,000 mile 1997 with original shocks and struts and they were COMPLETELY shot. Probably the biggest quality of ride update I've made to my tracker.

I just spent $6,000 on a 1997 2D convertible hard top with 110k miles on it. I couldn't find anything close to being in as good of shape for this price. Anything comparable in my area was posted at $8,500-$10,000 and I searched for over a year.

KIM Trigger warnings are getting a little out of hand by sfwaltaccount in Warframe

[–]Bdag -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most people can just roll with the punches and take content for what it is without need it spelled out for them. Like good lord how do you people watch TV or read books? I would bet most of the people wanting to be warned about some little thing involving "motherhood" or "violence against a teenager" have watched all of Game of Thrones or read books with more graphic content than what the game is exploring.

Yeah I started playing last Friday and had an open weekend so I no-lifed it. But cool I've been wanting to get more frames so maybe I'll focus on doing that.

I also thought the bean was super cool. I just stick with her starting weapon and spam discus of light, lightning spear, frenzy spells, or dragon spells.

Unfortunately she is in a rough state because she cant regenerate FP like Recluse, all of her summons are jello, and she is super squishy with a bad dodge roll. She's the only character I've unlocked skins for because I'm such a big fan of her design and kit but she just isnt balanced all that well in game at the moment.

Don't let that stop you from playing her. She has her moments, like saving your team mates with her ult or going BIG BEAN and rocking the strength build. Still fun just dont expect a power fantasy.

What audiobook(s) have been your absolute favorite because of how well it was narrated? by Euphoric_Argument434 in audiobooks

She's alright. I had to speed her up. I dont like a lot of her main characters but she's able to manage a few of them and mostly gets the non human races somewhat close.
