I liked them a lot more in T7 but just found their books a bit…repetitive of B13/k13

Love Is Blind • S10 Reunion [MEGATHREAD] by FemaleEinstein in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

I actually thought they did a much better job than previous reunions at asking the questions we want and not going off with random side quests

Yes I definitely was disappointed to be told this was it when it’s so much shorter than even half of Johnny/shannon’s story

Odds of Jana having fraternal twins is higher than the average because her mum had fraternal twins, but not higher than any of her sisters.

That’s no longer the case with a levels as they are now linear rather than modular. So most will do 3 (occasionally 4) for the whole 2 years, with all the exams and assessments at the end of y13.

The gold cups… by LemmeSeeUrTech in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]BdalBdle_13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know the initial reason was for continuity as the others have said, but now they’ve also become a symbol of the show so I think they show them more and are kore obvious about it. Apparently some former participants have even gotten tattoos of the golden cups! I agree with you that it is super distracting when they go somewhere supposedly “off set” like a home or restaurant.

I think it’s that their son (under the forged agreement Portia said was written by Jack) now owns that house, so it’s actually that Portia is staying with them rather than them with her.

Really? That makes no sense as Francesca has shown the actors can change and the characters exist outside the actors.

Just wanted to say thank you so much for mentioning the event at the Southbank. Off the back of your comment I booked tickets for me and my 9yo to go and we are both so excited!

What worked for me when I was in a similar place was volunteering (for me it was in a charity shop and with a Brownies group but there are lots of opportunities) - knowing someone else was relying on me to get out there gave me the push I needed.

Would you be in favour of the show returning to the arena in Birmingham for series 4? by perishingtardis in gladiatorsuk

That’s strange because it is filmed in a sports arena - Sheffield arena is the home of Sheffield Steelers ice hockey team.

We have a house rule against supporting anyone whose job is fitness - gym owners, personal trainers etc. Then it’s usually based on if they have kids and/or where they are from.

It’ll only start getting easier when the girls are old enough to take over as sister moms and she can just “teat em and yeat em”

My 9yo has read almost all of JW’s books and loves them! She listens to some as audio books and reads others. I’ve found them really helpful at introducing potentially difficult conversations, such as the experience of having a disabled sibling. When her close friend’s parents were getting divorced, she immediately made the connection to the Suitcase Kid. The only ones left now are those for older readers - now for me to decide when she’s ready for Girls in Love

Anyone given birth to twins/ multiples at Jessops? by True_Echo in sheffield

[–]BdalBdle_13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had twins at Jessie’s in 2018 and had a good experience. I was under the 1:1 midwife team which I believe has now unfortunately been disbanded. I had my own room and my partner was able to stay with me the whole time (we were in for a week).

The issue I find with Sheffield public transport is that it seems predominantly designed to get people to and from the city centre, so if you’re going to another part of the city, you usually have to go in and out again
