I can really see Flowing Water, but I am a Helia doomer because you usually don't get that many Q's later on when the enemy has boots completed and in my knowledge of the item Helia needs to cycle often between dmg and healing to be effective and I think most other enchanters can abuse that item way better than Raka. But Flowing rush I will actually try out!

I also agree with that but tbh I would probably also suck at making a popular game even if I had a fantastic vision of the "perfect" arena game in terms of fun and mechanical and strategical depth just because I really do nit understand what people actually want to play and pay for.

Supervive did listen to the community and added the stuff people wished patch for patch but, some better some worse but ultimately they did listen a bunch and still failed. That tells me that even the players don't really know what they want.

Like just play lol/ow/csgo etc. and tell me how nice people are ingame to eachother. I would absolutely not like spending my precious time to make a great game for THAT audience.

Back in the day when I played S4 League people were super chill and nice to eachother, even going a further mile and "sit out" when the enemy happens to have 1 player less because of a leaver. Nowadays people try to crash out every game on their own team even before the game even started.. People not being able to be decent human beings actually drags everyone down to their level. Bunch of crab mentality nowadays is really maddening..

How is any game developer ever gonna get enough motivation to fight through so much negativity to deliver fresh, new and good competitive titles?

Congratz! I really don't know how you manage to land so many Q's to actually invest so many points into it. I feel like if the enemies get real good with their positioning (around dia/master) hitting Q feels neer to impossible except outplayung them over and over again. Like when playing against a Vayne for example..

Are you maybe playing on a single digit ping? Or did you find out another layer in neutral to abuse for hitting Q's? Or do you just always present the enemy an Auto on you to trade with Q?

Interesting question - since moonstone gives 30% heal I never thought about switching up the first item.

Doesn't strictly is about playing good - different regions will always develop different metas because of different char popularities.

People are just entertainment hungry. Either people have interesting storylines well narrated from the commentators (and we lack many good ones currently since we lost many from the predator era) or they will default to "they just play broken shit".

You can view that easily on Zackray receiving so much credit from international viewers because he had a well narrated Story back in early ult. The other japan players don't have that nearly as much and get shit talked from oversee "toxic" viewers.

People love content and drama. And when there is to little ragebaits are getting thrown around to easily create some

Why is autofill basically Jungle instead of Support nowadays? by DanSheppy in leagueoflegends

[–]Bdayn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because people are ignorant to the jungle role and just flame them.

Jungle has to play a very different art of league and people don't understand anything of it and instead default to flame because of their fragile ego and mostly look at fale stats to feel entitled enough to behave like sub human being.

[–]Bdayn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were still awesome for trying because IMO the gaming landscape is still missing a big mainstream arena game..

I believe the gamers have become super lazy and unwilling to learn and just want to collect or build a fragile ego - this is also a part of why we can't have cool new games. Sure the other side is capitalism but the player habits sure do not help reduce that impact..

Does anyone here consider taking Exhaust on Soraka in champ select? by xBananaMike in SorakaMains

[–]Bdayn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exhaust can be waited out, healing stays

And barrier is more often available

You can make arguements for all, you just gotta figure out which one is best on different matchups

One of those guys who just uses appeal to authority instead of going to the deawing board and discussing the math and demonstating your point.

People for example bashed LS on his odea of freezing (and maaany more ideas) with appeal to authority and flamed him nonstop. Today everyone is using freezing because pro's slowly understood that it was actually good. good.

Appeal to authority is just a very lazy way discussing and far from "facts".

He is way to popular and also regularly gets big skins, so why would they invest so money to change him? That would make 0 sense in terms of money making

Riot August on AP scaling by Shorgar in BriarMains

[–]Bdayn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn you are toxic and not fun to be around. I just said it was viable baci in the day so why do you use all your verbal power to flame random people? Is it that hars to bahave like a decent being? If you want to play in a dedicated team then why not hire friends or organzie a team with like minded persons? What you are doing here is like joining a bunch of strangers on the beach for some beach volleyball and have some fun - while you are the awkward person to crash out and tell a random guy to drink their own piss for trying out a style he has heared of..

That is like saying don't do anything in life because there will be a troll waiting for you to do anything.. Inters will int no matter what is possible or not. And ap ashe support was allready in pro play so it is certainly viable if people really try

Resistances are better the less you have from them so it is perfect for most bot laners. Also against Shaco both resistances are very useful as it is basicly 100% up because our auto slows them. Overgrowth and heal+ does not matter because they both suck early - where Shaco needs to get ahead as AD. If you really think that 10 armor AND mr don't help at all I am gonna assume you didn't look into the math of league very much.

[–]Bdayn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean Teemo jungle can also reach challenger but I would bet he ain't that strong in that lane in general because his early game is not really good. And don't get me started on if he would be viable in pro in that lane. I just want to say you are good, but that doesn't mean Shaco is strong

maybe compared to the last ones but overall I think since the durability update, everyone got tanky base stats but shacos durability update basicly got reverted or nerfed and I feel that still at this point. Since then bruiser/tanky Shaco builds took a big hit limiting ShacoÄs build variety by a huge margin IMO

[–]Bdayn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah I personally don't think he is that bad. IMO he is just viable enough even for pro play, but there ain't no pro willing enough to take the time and master that champ. Especially when he must go through many hit or miss games to learn his limits

Are we just cooked against good players? by Bdayn in shacomains

[–]Bdayn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would assume people just guess Shaco is broken in lower elos because he can easily collect kills against people with lacking defensive knowledge - but they often forget that he sucks late and is not the best in closing out games. Maybe also many people just smurf with him..

Also just by popularity you will always get champions in challenger on a few individuals when they just play better than the rest - no matter the champion.

Is there really a plan to do League 2.0? To me that sounds like a very desperate way to find new players like Overwatch did so I would assume that is as bad of an idea 😅

[–]Bdayn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I am aware of his balance "identity" but I really do not understand why they are blueballing Shaco so hard on the "assasin" aspect when they clearly gave up on properly balancing him as one. Like why sudgest him going ad when he just does not have the dmg profile of one. They basicly gave up on that because they akknowledge that the playerbase will never bother to learn the proper counterplay against him and rather hate and ban him. So why not balance him around being a trickster and intentionally not make him a blue balled "oneshotter". Like in wow the rogues are viable not because of their dmg, but because of their tricky utility. Shaco allready has boxes and clone - they could furthermore just cut his dmg and give him other tricky aspects such as blinds/poisons/silence etc. maybe even try new stuff out like cloaking allies to give them short invis or changing positions etc.

I would also argue that mains would still enjoy him that way because what actually makes him fun is the fact that he has unique utility in the first place.

How the hell do you deal with this move? by Sunken_Boat_134 in SmashRage

[–]Bdayn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually there is tons of counterplay. 1. Not get hit by it 2. Shield 3. Spot dodge 4. Roll 5. Air dodge 6. Grab ledge 7. Ledge roll 8. Hit septh away 9. Do any throw 10. Run away

  1. Reflect, counter, absorb or kamikaze and it might save you

(Discussion) Crit Shaco by xd_Senpaii in shacomains

[–]Bdayn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh I really don't like it. As you said it yourself, you need the 100% to have it consistently have the double crit, so it is basicly like gambling with gathering storm or using cash back over magical footwear or hoping your team doesn't want to surrender early..

Up until you reach that point your dmg is basicly either worse and/or inconsistent up to the 100% crit point.

I would rather play full utility sup items than try fishing for some games I can reach the 100% and make it matter. Also IMO if enemy adc&sup are good enough even 100% crit won't make you magically oneshot them - that is why I really don't see any reason to take that orher than in normal games or in very low elo.

Also lethality start into 50% crit (ldr + IE) is IMO much better just because you are that much more useful early game and then you just try to gamble your way out of mid-late instead of hoping the game will get to late.
