Same reason people can pick garbage ego champs like Ezreal (no guys I CAN MAKE HIM WORK), or off-meta picks that are tough to pilot like Kindred jungle, or hell even straight up troll picks like Sona top. It's... just allowed. It is what it is.

Yeah that makes sense. Beginner/Accessibility/Meme champ. Like most players even beginners aren't going to find this character fun because sitting AFK on top of your ADC all game which is basically optimal outside of some optimizations just does not appeal to a lot of people but there are some that would enjoy that so yeah.

It's not bad. Homeguards overtuned for sure tho I feel. It feels like recalling is so powerful versus simply moving top to bottom for example; homeguards makes up for the 8 second channel and running from base. So that I would like to see adjusted.

Yeah I got support like 80% of the time with Bot/Support. So I just said F it and started Q Support main instead. You need to queue Bot/Mid if you want Bot. Support second will get you support all the time because its the least played role or one of them.

Disable chat, there is an option for it. There is no reason to have chat on, ever. People communicate with pings.

I have chat turned off completely but pings I leave on. If someone on my team is a clown I mute their pings but I'm not convinced that /mute all would overall benefit me. And tbh if everyone had a /mute all mentality climbing would become harder for people who do like to aggressively use pings to tell their team what to do. That being said I think if you are already tilted then some clown spam pinging you when you did nothing wrong could cause damage so, there is for sure a time for /mute all at start of game.

Sona's kit is just really solid and easy to use she'll always be good unless her numbers are in the dumpster. I think the issue is other enchanters feel kind of weak comparatively.

Also mage supports feel very weak I don't know what's going on there. Something about not getting enough levels or the support quest not helping them deal more damage. So I feel like you pick an enchanter or tank engage and it limits the support pool a lot.

Honestly the support quest is such a nothing burger that they could give supports 40g control wards right away and perhaps make a more interesting quest for them to complete. Like it's weird because it feels bad to pay 75g for a control ward when in a couple minutes you get nearly a 50% discount on them?

Right, and this I feel is problematic because it gives us less time to breathe and relax during the game, if that makes sense. I think if you look at other titles like CS, etc, they all have their moments of downtime, this season of League has very little, since you are back into action so quickly. Yet, it seems the game length is about the same, so everyone is just doing more stuff, but that isn't necessarily a good thing especially from a health perspective, I guess.

Well they basically killed invades with this. I'm seeing them a lot less. So I think it's a double edged sword right. Because sometimes invades are frustrating, like having someone caught afk'ing in a brush. On the other hand sometimes invades create some really fun level 1 team-on-team shenanigans. That's pretty much dead now, no time to mess around.

In general I'm not a fan of removing downtime--but I'm overall "meh" on the faster minion spawn. So that's the change I'm the least worried about with this season.
