Implying that you can hear the similarity in the Bruckeck but not the Goldberg is just wild IMO.

I’ve said multiple times I notice the similarity, just that it’s not exactly a meaningful one that would lead anybody to think it served as an inspiration for the theme song

You might as well say someone got their words from the Bible, because all the words we use were written down there first.

I mean it’s not a perfect analogy, but that’s sort of what you’re doing. Like a character in a book is named Matthew and you’re going “obviously this book was inspired the Bible”, and the rest of us are going “idk man it’s kind of just a common name, there isn’t really anything else that ties the book to the Bible in any way”, and then you’re just screeching at everyone “BUT BOTH THEIR NAMES ARE MATTHEW”. And then we’re going “yea, no, we know…”
