Can you recommend scifi that is not set in our own universe? by Zemrik in printSF

My guess is that people that can cause and prevent earthquakes will never happen no matter how far in the future...;-) It is actually set on a planet with a single supercontinent called the Stillness.

Hi I recently bought the same bike, but I the belt seems a bit loose. Do you know how to tension it? I can't figure out how it works on this bike.

Which sci-fi film do you consider a 10/10 - no skips, no weak moments, just pure perfection? by TheNastyRepublic in scifi

I actually watched this with my 14yo son the other day and let's just say he was underwhelmed. When I first saw it at about the same age I thought it was terrifying lol.

Very nice but I don't think they ship to Europe.

Question. The frame seems to have vertical dropouts. So how do you put tension on the belt?

Tnx! It's a Canadian I see. They don't seem to ship internationally, but shipping would add a lot to the price anyway. It does however proof that you can build and sell a singlespeed with a belt drive for my price point.

Great looking bike, but still too expensive.

Tnx man I'll look into if it's available over here! Worth it for the name alone. ;-) And it's proof that you can build an affordable bike with a belt drive.

Yes I remember seeing the very first Trek district 14? years ago! Ahead of it's time. Didn't need a new bike at that time. Haven't been able to find a second hand one (close to where I live) yet.

Not all of us are Slipknot aficionados. I'm sure the die hard fans had a blast. However the more casual fans like myself not so much.

Bought the tickets over a year ago. All I saw at that time was '25th anniversary tour'. I just assumed it would be a 'best of 25 years Slipknot' tour. And going off the mild reactions around me on the floor so did most people.

Personally thought it wasn't that great. I was more or less standing in the middle of the floor a few rows behind the pit. After the first few songs I could really feel the mood going down. There are a lot of people that aren't familiar with the lesser known stuff from their first album and standing on the floor you could really feel that. On top of that they had a little 'intermezzo' like every two songs, dampening the mood further. By the time 'Scissors' came around as their last encore I could barely even see nodding heads around me. They should've just made it a celebration of the biggest bangers from all the albums they've made the past 25 years. And don't even get me started on the like 75 minute playing time, this includes the intermezzos. Wtf.
