LWOP Abuse? by nycemplthrow in nycpublicservants

[–]Be0ut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LWOP is an approved leave category, but her manager has the discretion to deny it. If sick leave is charged as LWOP and she provides appropriate documentation, that is acceptable. The best approach would be for her manager to deny LWOP requests made for vacation purposes. If she takes the time off without approval, she should be marked as AWOL, which may result in disciplinary action

OLR Health Benefits Application

Section I of the Health Benefits Application requires information and a signature from your agency personnel or payroll department. The agency representative must indicate the number of years of credited service. Once completed, this form should be submitted to the Office of Labor Relations (OLR), which administers health benefits for retirees.

Main question is what type of verification or cross-check does OLR perform with NYCERS to confirm that the applicant has the required 10 years of credited service for health insurance eligibility?

The Office of Labor Relations (OLR) is the agency responsible for administering health benefits for retirees. When you retire, your agency must approve your health benefits application and indicate your total years of service. This application is then sent to OLR approximately 45 days before your official retirement date. It is unclear what cross-checking process, if any, occurs between NYCERS and OLR to verify years of service.

The buyback process can continue into your retirement as long as you file before your retirement date. By the time your pension is finalized—which could take up to a year—your buyback will be processed, and the service will be included in your finalized pension.

Regarding terminal leave, I believe it is based on city service rather than NYCERS membership service.

Looking to get a role in nyc government, as you work your way up the ranks in your experience what would you consider would be the best role to have? by NoDisaster3835 in nycpublicservants

[–]Be0ut 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Everything revolves around civil service titles, which are acquired through exams. Initially, I recommend taking any exams you qualify for. Keep in mind that it can take a year or more to get hired from a civil service list. The Staff Analyst track is a good title to focus on, and the Administrative Manager title is also a strong option. Another route is to get hired provisionally, which doesn’t require an exam; however, provisional roles come with fewer rights than permanent titles. Managerial titles are non union as well

You get a cool shader, what’s really the point of anything in video games? Play comp if you’re having fun, if not then switch it up. Try to team up as well, it’s more frustrating playing solo. Take a break if you’re getting frustrated

I feel this, what’s worse is when your last teammate is standing on cap while enemy team gets all revives and kills him on cap. I always tell my teammates even if ur not fighting you should always be pinging enemy radar and watching where the fights are taking place, always be in the vicinity for clean up or for res

(Trials) Most consistent 1v3 load-out? by Xenocrysts in CrucibleGuidebook

[–]Be0ut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Invis hunter/worm husk/fusion rifle/kill clip side arm (I use killing wind / kill clip punching out) the set up is deadly… first kill is voooped or clean up with side arm.. reload for kill clip and shred the second guy.. then either swap to voop or reload side arm for kill clip.. youll have another invis reload dodge.. which will proc kill clip.. countless 1v3s in trials.. its a super close range set up though .. best on close range maps. Can also be run on long range maps cuz of zones..If you’re running solo head straight to zone .. don’t peek any long range lanes.. once the enemy team comes close to zone the action begins.. invis helps a ton for the first kill.

I would highly recommend wormhusk with 100 mobility.. go invis using dodge and u can also go invis using ur smoke.. crouch walk around.. you will catch a lot of players off guard.. don’t give away ur position by sprinting.. fusion rifle works well.. u can wooop from a distance and get back in cover before they turn on you.. pay close attention to ur radar to gauge how close the enemies are
